Ben's POV

Here we are, four of us, sitting in the couch, facing my coffee table.
Forth sits beside me while Lien and Beam sit across us.

I am a single man, why am I stuck in these situation of fighting kids in Saturday morning?
I should have on my way to the lake and fishing, enjoying my man time.

Silence as no one wants to act like a nice and proper human being.

I sigh.

Wait....

Fishing! That's it!

"So...." I break the silence.

Everyone turns their face towards me--Lien and the brats.

"As far as we know... Forth and Beam are studying at the same high school." I continue. "And judging by how they 'greet' each other, they are on different 'side of the road'...."

Forth huffs in annoyance.
Beam squints his eyes with his lips tightens in anger.

I turn to Forth. "What happened?" I asked. "Did he take your girl from you or something?"

Beam smirks.

Forth gasps. "He did not! No way he could take my girl away from me IF I had any! What mine is mine! What makes you think that he did?!"

"Well... look at him." I point at Beam. He's an asshole but high school girls like handsome asshole, so. "... and look at you." I say. "You're good looking, but let's face it... he's a Prince Charming compared to you. What else that will make you two hate each other like this?"

And then both Forth and Beam storm me with words. Angry words. Yelled. At. Me.
I think I heard about how asshole they are--at each other. Punk. Caveman. Man-whore.

Damn. Someone needs to teach them manner of how to talk politely.

I raise my right hand. "Stop it!"

I am a single man. Not a dad. Why is this happening to me?!!

Lien chuckled.

I sigh. "Look. I am going to take both of you fishing on the lake. The only way you both come home with me instead of being thrown away in the middle of the lake with stone tied on your feet is that both of you promised me that you will behave...."

Forth frowns.
Beam glares at me.

Lien raised her eyebrows.

"... and stop screaming. No one is deaf in here." I adds.

Forth huffs in annoyance.
Beam pouts.
Both of them are disagree with me.

"Go get my fishing gear and don't make me drag both of you. I can throw either Forth and Beam out from my apartment. Both of you can live on the street or live decently in my place, my rule. Your choice."

Forth growls. He gets up to get my fishing gears.
Beam glares at me but he follows Forth to get it.

I turn to Lien.

She is smiling widely.

"Don't." I don't know what will she say, but I know I won't like it.

Knowing her, she will still saying it anyway.
