A/N:
This story is a little heavy... in the mood.
LOL

Especially when 3 of my coworkers and families are positive Covid-19. They have kids in range from 1 to 5 years old. So yeah... pretty bad. But they will make it.

Ben's POV

I have birthday event in my coffeeshop. None of the boys (Forth, Four, Beam and Bane) are working on it because it will be late. I'm stick to the rule that they only work on first shift--07 AM to 3 PM only. They just kids.

When I got to my apartment upstairs, I see something that I can't imagine will ever be there.

Forth and Beam chatting, not yelling at each other. Chatting. Both of them made peace and if I'm not mistaken, Forth even will take Beam to school when their fresh year in the university started next week.

Bane is sitting while reading a book in front of the TV and surprisingly, Four sits quietly beside him. He is playing his game console and connect it to the TV.

It's peaceful.

Should I take a picture or video to show David and Marla how their sons are behaving like a decent human, not wolves who are trying to take their territory?

CLICK.

I turn to the door.

Lien is coming home. She smiled thinly at me, pecks Beam on his hairline and then go straight to her room.

I blink.

Even Lien is behaving nicely.
Too nice, actually. That woman is a teaser, usually she would tease me.

Maybe she have a bad day at work.

***

Or not.

In the morning, Lien again only smiled politely at me before she goes to work. She even said 'thank you' for the lunch box I prepared for her.

Weird.

Okay, it's decent. It's how people should do, be polite and thankful.

It was just....

... not so Lien.

I frown. Hm.

"Uncle B, Beam and I are going to check on our University." Forth said. "Can we asked for some money for fancy lunch out there?"

I look at them un-amused. "My cafe is not fancy enough for you? You can have free lunch there."

Forth pouts. He turns to Beam.

Beam steps forward.

Oh boy, I don't like it when he is the one who is in charge of talking. I open my wallet and takes some money. "Here. Use it decently." I give it to Beam before he said anything.

Beam smiled. "Thank you, Mr. Ben." He said politely and then turn to Forth while shows the money to him.

Forth smiled at Beam and then glared at me before both of them leave for their graduation party at school.

And now there are two more boys opening their palms in front of me. Four and Bane.

Bane smiled politely.
Even Four smiled politely.
Both of them said nothing.

"What?" I asked even if I know what they wanted.

"You don't want to hear my reasons." Bane said.
Four just nods.
