Roses POV

Cherry and I both woke up to a knock at the door.

"Ugh its 4 am who the hell is at the door." Cherry groaned.

I giggled at her and hopped out of bed to open the door. To my surprise A large man with a clip board and an x factor company shirt was at the door.

"Are you Cherry White?" He asked with a smile.

i smiled and shook my head slightly giggling.

"Rose Jenson?" He chuckled.

"Thats me Cherry's still in bed." I said in my scratchy morning voice.

"Well Im just here to tell you that you need to be ready at the studio for your first challenge in two hours." He read off his clipboard.

"Ok thanks." I said before closing the door.

"Cherry get up we need to get ready and be at the studio in two hours." I giggled and got up on her bed.

"Ugh wake me up in two hours then." She grumbled.

"Get up! Get up! Get up!" I laughed and jumped up and down on her bed.

She groaned and whined as I continued to jump up and down making her shake. She then started so laugh and threw a pillow at me.

"Your such a child." She laughed.

I giggled and fell on top of her.

"Get up." I tugged on her night shirt.

"Ugh fine." She smiled.

Me and Cherry got ready together. I was wearing light skinny jeans with a loose white tank top and a red and black flannel shirt tied around my waist. I left my hair in its natural curls and eased it up a bit. I wore minimal makeup and a pair of black toms with brown soles. Cherry was wearing full on stage makeup which she doesn't need cause shes gorgeous and a mint coulour strapless dress with white toms and straight blond hair.

"Why don't you take that off for the competition I know how heartbroken you would be if you lost it." cherry suggested referring to my necklace.

"No way. Besides It will be my good luck charm for this competition." I said and gripped the pendant at the end of the chain hung around my neck.

The necklace belonged to my aunt. She gave it to me right before she died. It was a gold chain with a old fashioned camera pendant on the end of it the size of a penny.

"What about breakfast?" I asked and gripped my stomach. "Im hungry."

"That's a first." Cherry jokingly scoffed.

Im not much of a big eater.

"We got time wanna just grab something at the cafe in the lobby?" She asked checking her watch.

I nodded and grabbed my bag shoving my phone inside it before we walked out of the hotel room. We quickly grabbed a muffin then called a cab to go to the studio. The cabs here where way nicer than the ones back in Brighton and Hove. The cab driver pulled up to the studio and we hopped out after paying him.

"Oh god Im so nervous." Cherry breathed.

"Your gonna do fine." I comforted her.

"We don't even know what it is were doing." She protested.

I kept quiet after that. I didn't know what to say.

We where lead backstage into this big recording studio with a piano guitar and microphone in the center of the room. There where about 100 of us and we where all sat on these big risers that circled half of the room. I scanned the room trying to spot a certain curly haired boy. When my eyes did finally find the shaggy mop of perfectly swooped chestnut curls, I found his eyes already staring at me. I smiled and and waved. He chuckled and looked down. He looked back up with that dimply grin still plastered onto his face.
