Scanning my whole schedule for the semester, I computed right away the remaining hours left for me for my part-time job and leisure time. But as I am about to do it, Sipayb and Kim had come already and approached me.
Kim immediately sat beside me, wearing a frowning face. Hence, curiosity hits me, and faced Sipayb with a questioning look. But instead of answering, he just shrugs off his shoulder and did the same thing as Kim.
"Bakit?" I said, having no choice but to ask her myself. She quite looked at our side first before she bowed her head and looked at the paper she was holding. Having sight of it, that is when I have an idea what she is sulking about.
The academic year just began today, and we are currently in front of the registration area getting our schedule for the semester along with the long queue of other students.
It is still early in the morning, and we still have a half-hour left before the class officially starts since I was the first one to receive a schedule from the department, I just waited for them at the benches nearby.
Judging Kim's look on her face it undeniably has something to do with the paper she is holding, which if I am not mistaken, is her class schedule. Our very own early agenda for today.
"Good news and bad news," she murmured, ostensibly as a preface to her long tirade, her voice tinged with disappointment, and then heaved a sigh.
"Magkaklase tayo sa apat na subjects, especially majors. Ang kaso kung ano pa 'yong Chemistry, hindi niyo pa 'ko kaklase." She grumbled, explaining in the middle of frustration, and almost ruining her neatly combed hair.
"Pero at least, kaklase mo pa rin kami. 'Di ba, girl?" Sipayb interfered I nodded as he asked me. If that's only her problem, then I don't think that can be really considered a problem.
"Eeee kasi naman kung ano pa 'yong math do'n ko pa kayo hindi kaklase. E alam niyo namang ayaw na ayaw ko no'n tapos chemistry pa! Babagsak talaga ako nito e." Kim continued almost on the verge of crying.
With that, Sipayb and I automatically exchange gazes and saw him trying to prevent his giggles but then failed and that's when a smile also slowly appears on my face which results in receiving death glares from Kim.
"Tignan mo 'tong dalawang 'to 'kala joke time. Panget niyo ka-bonding."
"Ay gaga, hindi din naman natin 'to bonding time. Papasok tayo sa iskul." Sipayb replied with a grinning smile which I giddily agreed on and we both burst out in laughter.
Her eyes then dart deadly towards us but eventually, pouts. "Porke't magka-block kayo—"
"Alright, Kim may I see?" I quickly cut her off before she even starts her long sermon and caught all the attention of other students around.
