I allow myself to stay in bed until mid-morning, only hopping out of bed when I remember I have to get to the Gym for my 2 hour workout. I climb out of bed, put on my gym shorts and sports bra then go downstairs to make myself some scrambled eggs on toast for breakfast. I get a glass of orange juice to wash it down then go back upstairs to brush my teeth and wash my face.

I take my gym bag downstairs, remembering to fill my juice bottle with some cordial. I grab my keys and lock the door as I leave, stepping into the mild April morning. I have my Gymshark hoodie slung over my shoulder and throw it with my gym bag into the boot of the car.

I slide in, remembering the feeling of last night's win makes me smile, butterflies floating throughout my tummy.

I start the car up, pull my harness on and reverse out of my space. Driving down the long gravel driveway I relax into the seat as my hands on the wheel relax too. I sit checking for traffic as the gates close behind me. Hearing the satisfying clunk I check again, and when it's clear to go, I put my foot down. I find my sunglasses in the centre console and slide them on. Feeling the wind rushing through my hair from the open window I breathe deeply, relishing in the warmth on my face, mixing with the cold breeze. It's a satisfying feeling. I slow down when I approach the town, pleased to have a parking permit for the leisure centre, seeing as how I spend so much time here.

I find a spot, reversing into it, ensuring I'm far away from as many people as I can be, and turn off the ignition. I climb out of the bucket seat, having managed to forget about gracefulness when it comes to the seats of this car. I heave my gym bag over my shoulder, cursing myself for always bringing a bunch of stuff I don't need, while rummaging through it to grab my gym card.

Perks of working for the gym means I don't have to pay for membership, I just scan my card and head straight in.

I greet the receptionist on my way past her, "Hi Mable, have you had your hair cut recently?" I smile at her, trying to earn some brownie points.

She blushes at my comment, "I have, do you like it?" She asks nervously.

"I think it really suits you," I smile at her, always build your fellow females.

She grins as I walk up the stairs to the gym.

I scan my card again and take note of the time, seeing it's half past 12. I'll see whether I'm hungry in an hour and decide whether I want to stop or not. I put my massive bag in the lockers provided, grab my Beats and phone, and make my way to the cross trainer. I pull my hair up as I walk, spinning it into a bun. I pop my headphones over my ears and click them on, hearing the pairing sound of them connecting to my phone. I pick a playlist that I cannot seem to leave called 10 Summers You Won't Forget on Spotify. Providing some bangers that make working out much easier.

I climb onto the cross trainer, the only piece of cardio equipment, other than the bike, that I actually get along with. I don't run. Never have, never will. I manage to burn about 100 calories in half an hour, I then head over to a piece of equipment that helps to build the muscle in my glutes and hamstrings. I do 100 squats, taking a break every 10. I start to feel the burn so change to some bicep curls while sitting down.

An hour and a half later, I waddle downstairs looking like I've shit my pants. My music still blaring in my ears, I remove one side of my headphones so I can hear what's going on around me. I let my hair down to relieve the hair-up headache I've started to develop. I'm taking the stairs slowly watching my feet in case they go numb.

"Can you go any slower?" A masculine voice says, annoyed, from behind me.

"I can stop altogether if you'd like me to." I say sweetly.
