I barely get a wink of sleep for the rest of the night.

Archer gets up at 08:00 for a shower, I stay in bed for a little while.

I hear the shower turn off, swinging my legs off of the side of the bed, I have a small stretch before making my way to the en-suite.

Archer stands in front of the mirror, brushing his teeth, not aware of my presence.

"Do you have any clients today?" I ask, making him jump.

"Jesus!" He shouts, "You scared the shit out of me. Erm, no, I don't think I do. So it will probably be a slow day of making meal and exercise plans. Why?"

"I was thinking you could train with me?" A shy smile crossing my lips with some puppy dog eyes for good measure.

"I'd really like that." I jump in the shower myself, giving myself a quick clean-off. Archer watches me while he drys his small mop of curls.

When we are both dressed, we head downstairs for a cup of tea and some toast for breakfast.

"What would you like to train today?" Archer asks before taking a quick sip of his tea.

"I'd like to start with some cardio, burn that pizza off. Then maybe some strength training?"

Archer nods, his mouth now full of toast, with a little jam on the corner of his mouth. I giggle and lean in for a kiss.

As I kiss him, the jam transfers itself to my lips, he notices when he pulls away and laughs. Then leans in again, only this time not to kiss me, but to lick the jam.

I close my eyes. As he licks the jam, his hand finds my knee while the other finds the side of my cheek. I can already feel the heat rising from the gentle touches. His tongue makes it's way down to my neck as I tilt my head back slightly, eyes closed and willing him to take me right here in the kitchen.

But we are disturbed. His phone rings, sees it's his auntie and puts it on the worktop.

"Answer it Archer, it's okay." I re-adjust my clothes that have been moved around in our frantic kiss.

He looks at me and apologises before he answers the phone.

"Hey, is everything okay?" He says intho the phone, before taking the last bite of his toast.

I can hear the frantic sound of his auntie coming through the speaker.

I mouth to Archer to put his phone on speaker. He shakes his head, stands and walks into the garden, closing the door behind him.

What? Why would he walk away. I clear up from breakfast while he's outside, then return upstairs and collect my gym bag with my chalk, lifting belt and barbell pad inside it.

When I come back downstairs, Archer is just walking through the patio doors.

"Anything I can help with?" I ask, sliding a Gymshark jumper over my head.

"No, it's just Adele stressing over nothing." He sees my quizzical look, then continues to explain himself. "Adele is our Auntie. She was freaking out because Molly left for her Dad's without her reading book." I raise my eyebrow. "I told her to ring the school to let them know that she won't have it and that I'll pick it up later."

"Okay, as long as everything is okay." I smile, before sliding my shoes on and grabbing my car keys.

"Oh," I hear the disappointment in his voice so I turn to look at him. "I thought we might go together."

"I've got to go food shopping after my swimming class." I unlock the front door and open it, waving him through.

"Would you like me to come with you?" He walks past me, touching my cheek as he goes. The sweet smell of his aftershave floating after him.
