Ch. 20: Shocking Reveals

"Mukuro's killer and the mastermind are the same person." Ishani informs. "You know who the mastermind is?" Byakuya asks. "Of course I do. It's one of the first things I figured out. The mastermind is-" Ishani says. "Now now! Makoto is our protagonist character here, so if anyone is going to do any revealing, it's going to be him!" Monokuma says. "Tch. Have it your way. The truth will still come out no matter who says it." Ishani says, narrowing her eyes.

"Kyoko and I also know who the person is." I say. "Do you now?" Monokuma asks. "Monokuma said the record of students was kept at sixteen." Kyoko explains. "Which means the killer has to be one of us." Hina says. "Well eight bodies are in the bio lab, so that should narrow it down." Monokuma says. "No, that's wrong! There are only seven bodies in the bio lab! There should of been eight, but one was recycled." I say. "Okay. That's all kinds of fucked up." Leon says.

"Makoto is right. In the Monokuma file it says she has a bunch of old wounds all over body. Now who do we know died from a bunch of stab wounds?" Ishani asks. "Junko Enoshima." Byakuya says. "Exactly." Ishani says. "So both the mastermind and Mukuro are alive?" Taka asks. "No. Mukuro Ikusaba is dead. The mastermind, who tried to kill me before I stopped them is no other than Junko Enoshima!" Makoto says. "What?!" They all ask. "Didn't she die?" Hiro asks. "Yeah! She died in the way beginning!" Leon says.

"Come on. Piece it together. Mukuro Ikusaba was lying hidden in the school. She was disguised as Junko. That's why Junko didn't look like the magazine covers. It wasn't Junko. Junko was pulling Monokuma's strings behind the scenes." Ishani informs. "That's why Monokuma gave us pictures where you can't see Junko's face! And why he cut off the video before we could hear her voice! If we saw her real identity and heard her real voice, then we would know that the Junko we met was a fake." I say.

"Yup! Not only is she responsible for Mukuro's death, she's the mastermind of this killing game, the first killing game and the tragedy!" Ishani reveals. "I knew I should of killed you!" Monokuma says, before falling over. "Playing dead? That is your specialty." Byakuya says. "Give it up! You're found out." Kyoko says. "Junko Enoshima! I demand that you show yourself!" Taka demands. "If you so kindly insist..." Monokuma says. Smoke starts to fill the room. What's happening?!

When the smoke fades, Junko stands in Monokuma's place, a crown on her head. "At long last! I was waiting oh so long for your minds to spell it out! Good thing you had Ms. Suzuki to help you. I'd expect nothing less from a former student council member of Hope's Peak." Junko says, in a fake accent. "I never really thought you would kill off your own sister." Ishani says. "Sister?" I ask. "Yes. Twins, actually. Mukuro and I were two sides on the same coin. The despair sisters. One, rough and military brained. The other one cunning and very attractive. Guess which one I was!" Junko asks in a weird voice.

"Holy shit this is really happening." Leon says. "Hahaha! Twisted sisters untied in their hunt for despair!" Junko says in the weird voice. "They were twins?!" Byakuya asks. "I-if you're siblings then w-wouldn't you...don't siblings u-usually share the same last n-name?!" Toko asks. "Don't you know? The name switch is common device! Sorry if you can't wrap your head around it!" Junko says in the weird voice. "You killed your own sister!" Hina says. "My reasons for that run deeper than the ocean...Joke! I was just bored!" Junko reveals.

"What about the other two? Are they dead too?" Ishani asks. Other two? What is she talking about? "Nope! I could never kill long haired McBored face. As for robot lawyer girl, someone has to keep me entertained with the outside events!" Junko explains. "Of course they are." Ishani sighs. Who are they talking about? "I do apologize for my behavior. It's been so long since I addressed another human being directly. One gets easily out of practice it seems. All I had was my own company! What's that saying about a chestnut and too many chefs?" Junko asks, going from a low voice to a weird one.
