In this chapter we are going to introduced to a new friend. Erin Marshall. She is another one of my close friends and last night we went skiing. As we are about to go down the hill, we wait at the top for Alvin and Joe to get their bindings tight. Once they are up and ready off we go!!! It was the first hill of the night, a blue square, not to complicated but it was icy and covered in a fresh power from lake affect snow fall that afternoon. As we are gliding down the hill I find an icy patch and start to slow down. Erin didn't realize it was ice until she tried stop. She couldn't. All I hear is
"Emma hurry up I can't stop!!"
and then she clipped my ski with her snowboard :(
I ended up falling over Erin tumbling over me. She got up easy but falling in skis normally doesn't happen so it's pretty hard to get up. My knees are stuck going different directions and Erin had already gotten up and left so i was stuck. As I lay there screaming
"THANKS ERIN I'M STUCK,"
I get an idea. Me being the weirdo blonde i am decides to start making snow angels :) Finally it hits me. You Idiot un-clip your skis. As i un-clip my skis i stand up and continue down the hill. When i get to the bottom Erin is laying there laughing her head off. I felt pretty good though cause i made a pretty awesome snow angel.:)
