My parents told me this quote I have never heard before, before they died. It went,"be careful who you trust, the devil was once an angel." I'm pretty sure that's how it went. I loved them very much. they also told me that I should be with what makes me happy, what makes me laugh. Wasn't really a what, more like a who. That who, was Rey. Rey is the boy I love. I don't think he loves me back but if he does,I would be the happiest girl alive!

Things haven't really been the same since Anthony left, I really miss him. he was the leader before Matt. He wasn't a bad guy, it's just that, it seems as if they brainwashed him. He hates us now, became one of the suspects, he thinks we're the bad guys. Six years ago that was when they changed him. Eleven year-old kids in a group of who knows how many.

I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard someone come in the building.
Then I heard," Hey guys I'm back, and I brought a new friend!". I looked over and saw Rey with a girl. Was that his girlfriend or just his "friend"? I climbed down the stairs of our so-called home aka an abandoned building in New York. Every time someone new comes in, I'm always the first one to greet them. I went up to her and gave her a hug. I then said,"hi, my name is Denaj but you can call me De".
She gave me a smile that made me smile. I've never seen anyone so beautiful with such a smile. I then saw everyone else coming in, except Matt.

"Where's Matt?" I asked over exaggerating for our new friend. I went to look for him. He usually would be in the main room where I remember one time I went here when the building wasn't abandoned, where they had meetings, but he wasn't.

"De, he's over here!" I heard Zara yell from the first floor. I then went Down and saw Matt which I almost did not recognize. Matt has been trying to commit suicide or has been taking drugs ever since Anthony left and lacy passed away.

Lacy and Matt were the lovebirds of blackstock alley. They were planning on getting married early, they knew how. But the sad thing was that lacy was pregnant.

The age didn't matter to us especially when it came to love because we knew that we were gonna die early somehow. Then one day the suspects ambushed us, kinda like a tiny war. They were more experts in killing than we were so they tried to kill Matt. Anthony was ordered to shoot Matt, but when he pulled the trigger, lacy got in front of him. That move killed two people actually. lacy and the baby.

I then went down stairs to see if Matt was really there. He just kept staring at the new girl. He stared at her as if it were Lacy.
"Lacy?" He quietly asked of her presence.
"Who are you, and why are you asking about my sister?" The girl asked. My eyes nearly popped out of my eye sockets when I heard that.
"Wait, are you Lacy's sister?" Matt asked. The girl slowly nodded her head. "Lacy Padilla?" He made sure to get the right lacy. The girl then nodded once again but in a more sarcastic way if you know what I mean. He then jumped up and down and did a twirl that made him fall to the ground with a huge smile on his face. We all laughed at his actions and we smiled at his smile that has not appeared since the beginning of the Trojan war. He then hugged her and looked at her as if waiting for a movement or answer.

"She really loved you, and I know who you are actually." she answered. With a smile still on his face, he asked,"what's your name?"

"Rosemary" she answered as simple as that.
"She's sleeping in my room!" He announced. With that he took her to his room and off we all went to sleep.
