Matt's P.O.V

I took Rosemary to my room. It was cold because the glass window at the top of the ceiling was broken. It looked beautiful at night.

"So, how's lacy?" She asked. I realized that she wasn't aware of Lacy's death. And of what was supposed to be her niece. Not only would she know but her parents would too. I got ready for the moment.

"Look, Mary, about Lacy-" I was cut of by desperate looking eyes waiting for the moment of truth.
I kept going knowing what was gonna happen. "Lacy's dead". I quickly blurted out. Way too quick. It sounded harsh. Her eyes quickly looked like tsunami ready to hit the city.

"I need a moment" she whispered. I nodded my head and gave her a quick hug and left the room. Ten minutes passed and I started to worry. "Mary, you okay in there?" I asked. She didn't answer. I went in there to see an empty room with an open window at the end of the room. I ran to the the window to see an empty alley and a rope tied from the border of the window.

I cursed under my breath. I got my jacket, my only jacket and quietly
went outside to look for her. This girl was driving me crazy already!
"Wait!" I heard a voice say behind me. It was no surprise that everybody would hear me anyway and go with me. Rey of course was trying to catch up to me, when he did he was out of breath.

"You know I'm not letting you go by yourself" he reminded me. "What are we looking for?" He asked regaining his breath.
"Rosemary, she ran away." I answered.

Anthony's P.O.V
I was at the top of a roof like every night reading the bible. My parents aren't catholic, but I am. Actually my REAL parents were. I finished reading and stared of into space, that was until I heard someone coming. I hid behind a dumpster in a ceiling? Why would there be a- nevermind no time for that. The next thing I knew I was looking at the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. She got on top of the edge of the building. I then realized that she was going to jump of the building. Before she jumped off, she said she was sorry, she stood on her tippy toes. But before she jumped off I quickly grabbed her by the waist and pulled her into my arms.

"Are you crazy?!" I let her rest on the floor. "No, just desperate." she answered while getting up. That happened too fast, so fast I'm not so sure it happened.

"Desperate for what?". I waited for her to get on her feet before she answered.
"For a life" she said. I laughed. I laughed! I laughed for the first time in five years. I stopped and thought about that. I laughed even more than I was at the beginning. She joined in on the laughing parade. And then you could hear us laughing so loud that all New York could hear us. When we stopped laughing, we looked at each other. We were trying to look for any expression on our face.

Luckily, I came back to my senses. I took out my gun and pointed it to her forehead. I didn't want to kill her but it was part of the rules. You can't let someone get to know you, see you, meet you.

"What's your name?" I assumed what sounded like a question. "ANSWER ME!" I yelled but not so politely this time. She answered, "Mary". She ran and jumped off the building. I ran for her and hugged her by the waist, again. This girl has a thing for jumping off buildings twice in less than five minutes.

"You know, if you want to skydive, you'll need a parachute and you'll have to do it high sky in the daytime." I gave her a teasing smirk.
She gave me a look that asked, really?

"You know you should probably stay with me for a while until I make sure you're afraid of heights." I insisted. "And also you've got to stop doing that" I suggested.
