Mikes P.O.V

living in New York was harder than I thought. Eighteen years old and still nothing. Nada. Nichts.

I thought I would get some credit for getting this far at my age. I've heard of these mountain groups people keep talking about. Finding one is also harder than I thought. Wandering and wandering I got lost. Too many people too many places.

And also I know chicks Don't dig boys with no homes and all that, but I gotta admit I'm kinda majestic if you know what mean. But, today something I didn't think would ever happen, happened. Here's how it went.

I was walking near the candy shop down blackstock street when I saw the most beautiful angel ever. She had medium lengthed hair that was purple, sharp and beautiful green eyes, a smile with lips that are to never be forgotten, and she had quite the curves if I do say so myself.

I was planning on going to acting school. But meanwhile in high school I studied the way people faked their emotions, eyes, ways of movement. This little purple-haired gal was quite the actor alright. She made a sad frown with sad-looking eyes that drowned the people that passed by with pity for this homeless girl with nothing to eat.

I watched her for a while, later on someone gave her some money and food. And you'd think people would think twice in what a teenage girl would do with money. When she finally got up to leave, I noticed how slowly she got up, how she put her hand on her chest, how she fell back down with instant tears falling down her cheeks.

I might have kept my distance but I sprinted towards to help her. Everyone looked at her with pity, already stretching their hands out for her. She didn't take them she just pushed them away. I on the other side didn't just stand there stretching out my hand, I knelt down next to her holding her hand already and lifting her head from the cold and dirty ground.

She squeezed my hand as she groaned in pain. After five minutes of groaning and squeezing, she finally stopped and stood up with my help.

"Zara" she said all of a sudden. I tilted my head in confusion. She gave me a smile worth taking a picture and then said," My name is Zara, who are you?".

Understanding what she meant, I answered saying my name was Mike. Linking my arm to Zara's, I helped her walk to where she needed to go.

"Uhm I need to go to Blackstock alley, my family is actually waiting for me." she told me. I fell silent. I knew that there was a Blackstock street but I didn't know there was a Blackstock alley.

I asked her to help me out on where to go. We just went straight until we turned to a right into an alleyway. It was full of boxes, dumps, trash. Wonder why her family would be here.

Then I thought drugs. Maybe her 'family' were actually drug dealers. Or maybe I was just overthinking.

"So, are you some sort of drug dealer?" I asked out of the blue. She stopped and turned around to me.

"No I am not, and why would you want to know Mr. Barnyard?" Barnyard? What the actual hell was she thinking.
I like nicknames, just not stupid ones.

"Can I not wonder if you're possibly a drug dealer? And why do you seem sick, are you alright?" Then she looked as pale as a ghost. She looked dizzy and I guess losses her balance. I picked her up in my arms, when she pointed to a nearby door.

"You stay here, thank you and I'm sorry for snapping at you. Oh and actually on second thought I can take it from here, soooo you can leave." she winked at me and slowly made her way inside the rusty building.

I chuckled to myself and imagined myself kissing those soft lips. When the door finally closed, I heard a soft ping
Fall to the floor. I looked down to see a shiny bracelet. It had some kind of tiny metals dangling from it. They were shaped into things. There was a gun, a little bottle, two connected hearts, a baby, a music note, a little black backpack, a ballerina, a cup of tea, a soccer ball, a Hawaiian flower, a mic, sushi, the Eiffel Tower, and a little girl.

I actually had my own little little charm. A little cigarette. I put it on the bracelet. And put it on my wrist so I wouldn't lose it.

It was hot and burning. I saw the exit but it was covered by some piece of the building that fell. There was another room next to this one with an exit. I was trying to make a whole on the wall but I just ended up having red and bloody hands.

Starting to give up, I heard someone yelling from next door. I couldn't make of what they were yelling, but I yelled even louder between coughs.

Then the voice became louder and clearer. I couldn't see anything, I could feel the smoke in my lungs, not breathing properly. I fell down, not moving at all. I could feel flames near me.

Then, I saw light. But there was fire behind the light.

"Hey! We found somebody, come on help me with his arms" I heard a dark voice say. Then I felt one arm helping me get up. And another, eventually I just felt being brought to light.

Then blank. Everything was gone. The last thing I saw was my Rosemary, crying, following behind me hands on her stomach, but there were firemen holding her up. The baby. My baby.
Then Black

THE NEW YORK TIMES
There was a fire on Sopletick st. Last night in the downtown area in an abandoned building. There was only one victim he was not a drug dealer only a homeless 18 year old who appeared to be living in there for several years. Police departments say his name is Anthony Kem Galves. His parents died in a car accident on December 24, 2007 when the next day he was technically "adopted" by two criminals. They left a note saying if they try looking for their now "adopted" son, they will kill him.

Fire departments say that they still haven't found out how the fire started but they found a little charm that appeared to be a cigarette. Police are still trying to figure out what started the fire. Anthony Galves is currently in the hospital.

The fireman said that there was another victim that actually ran into the fire who seemed to be pregnant but disappeared when Anthony was brought to the hospital.

Luckily one of the firemen has photographic memory and was able to get the information they needed about the girl who's name is Rosemary swan Haskins. Investors will see who is responsible for fire.
