I needed some time, so I told my parents I was going to the library. I walked all the way over there. it wasn't really that far. I wasn't just gonna go there for nothing too. I checked out some books and then Went to a table. I thought for a while, I was back to day 1 of boring life again. When I finished thinking I but the books in my purse and then headed back home. On my way there I heard sirens, I was worried so I ran all the way over there. I nearly fainted when I saw my dad going into the back of the ambulance car and seeing no mother or sister in sight. It seemed like they were searching for me so I hid behind a bush. I think my dad just had a heart attack or whatever like always but then I saw blood on his forehead and a big, fat hole on his forehead. I suddenly felt dizzy and everything went black.

I woke up to see a pink and baby blue sky. My head really hurt and so did my back. I remembered what happened and tears quickly ran down my cheeks as if it were a race. Remembering what happened, I peeked out the bush to see if they were gone, and they were. I went inside the house and got my black backpack. Since my parents were dead and my sister too, I decided to pack my things and move out. Besides, I did not want to go to the orphanage home. I got my stuff I got some clothes, hair stuff, pads, another pair of shoes, my blue contact lenses, money, a book, some pain pills, and some bandages with disinfectant. A lot of things but it's useful. And besides it wasn't heavy at all. I took some food and water for when I get hungry. It was cold outside so I was lucky I had my jacket and my beanie. I felt really stressed and I kept trying to forget the thought of my parents dead and my sister too. I went to a nearby junk food store to buy a peach snapple.

I paid for it and then left the store. that's where it all mainly happened. This hooded person then reached the backpack out of my hand and ran straight into the alley. "Hey!" I yelled. I chased them in there and.. just chased them. I saw a loose and heavy rock and threw it at their head. They obviously fell and probably forgot who they were. I quickly grabbed my backpack and took the strangers hood off. It was a boy, about my age. "Okay, okay you got me now, you gonna call the cops or what?" He asked. he had messy and short dirty blonde hair, beautiful brown eyes, and was way taller than me.

"No, why would I do that? Besides, this backpack only holds feminine items." I said. He just kept staring at me like I'm the most strangest thing in the world. "My name is Mary by the way" I added.

He kept looking at me, then He smiled, "Call me Rey" Rey finally said. I quickly checked in my backpack for any missing things. My snapple. "Give me back my snapple!" I snapped.
"Oh come on! I don't have any money, you at least have a home and some money!" Rey snapped back. Oh give me a break.

"For your information I don't have a home, that's why I'm here talking to you" I didn't have any idea what I just said but I needed to relax.

"Do you need to sit down?" He chuckled.

"Yup" it's like he knew exactly what I was thinking.

"Look, you might wanna get outa here before the cops come anyway"

"I am NOT going anywhere, unless I'm coming with you!" I said. We could hear the sirens from a distance.

"Fine, but you have to be fast and careful, come on." he said. Luckily I was pretty fast. Roy said that the cops would come every time something like this happens because he was wanted by the police.We ran fast, we climbed up dumpsters, jumped on roofs. We did all sorts of things I have never done in my life before. It was incredible. From that moment on, I was finally able to know what freedom was.
