My Dark Wonderland

Chapter Four

*Miah*

~After Haylee Left the library with Andy~

As I was working on some art of mine I heard the library door slam close. I look up and saw a girl I’ve never seen before. She looked at me and smiled. As she started walking towards me I got this cold feeling. Like the darkness was near again. I looked down at my drawing and and saw it start to move. I stood up fast and backed away a little bit.

“You’re Miah aren’t you?” A girl’s voice said. I looked up and it was the same girl that was walking towards me.

“Yeah, Who are you?” I asked and she laughed.

“My names DJ. I’m looking for a book.” She said and I nodded.

“What is it called?” I asked her.

“The book of Salem Witchcraft?” She said unsure. I looked at her in suspicion and nodded.

“That’s up stairs.” I said and I motioned her to follow me. When we climbed up the stairs I felt her grab my hand before we went into one of the rows. I turned around and she took something out of her pocket.

“You know, for many many years I have done everything in the book to kill you but you just won’t die. Now this,” She held up a vial full of red liquid. “This is will kill you and make sure that you are never born again.” She said and I tried to pull my arm away.

“Get away from me, you physco.” I said and kept trying to pull my arm. Once I finally got my arm free, I turn to walk away and felt something tangle in my hair and pull me back. I winced and put my hands on my head and she took her other hand and put the vial up to my mouth. I closed my lips tightly so she couldn’t get it through. I watched as the first drop was about to fall but in a blink of an eye the vial was gone. I looked to see who took it and it was Haylee. Thank Gods.

~Present~ 

“Haylee who the heck was that?” I said again and she turned to look at me.

“We need to get to CC.” She said and grabbed my hand and pulled me with her. As we ran down the stairs I saw my stuff was on the floor. I got my wrist out of Haylee’s extremely tight grip and went to it. I quickly picked them up and searched for my drawing. When I found it I sighed and hid it in my sketch book.

“Miah, come on” Haylee said harshly and I got up and followed her. I felt someone’s eyes staring at the back of my head but I just shook it off. As Haylee and I started walking down the halls looking for CC, she looked out the window towards the court yard and saw CC, Ashley, Jake, and Jinxx. Where’s Andy? I went out the door with Haylee and kept staring at the four boys, wondering where the fifth one is.

“Welp, I regret talking to Andy. DJ took it as the opportunity to kill Miah with her blood” She said as we got closer to them. She tossed the Vial to CC and he caught it in one hand.

“She’s a step ahead.” CC said and Haylee nodded.

“Not only that but Andy doesn’t remember. It’s like he’s being forced not to.” Haylee said. Jinxx said something but it was like I couldn’t hear him. I tried reading his lips but everything started to blur. I dropped my things and held my head. I closed my eyes and felt something come up my throat and into my mouth. It was stomach acid, it wasn't food, it was blood. I turned to the side, opened my mouth and let it all flow out.

“Miah!” I heard Haylee’s ear screeching yell. I covered my ears and fell to the ground.

“Shit, the drop must have got to her lips and slipped in when she talked.” Haylee said and I held my stomach and turned on my side.
