Modern Family- Claires Other Daughter

~Chapter One~

Lorelai's POV

I finally got out of my dads house and I pack a suitcase of the stuff I own. I sneak out when he is asleep. I am wearing a black crop top and skinny jeans with black high heels. I really want to see my mum I miss her. I'm now 23 and haven't seen her since I was 6 because my dad took me away from my mum. I call a taxi and I phone the bank to find my mums address. They only gave me her address because she's my mother. I get the address and I Get into the taxi and they take me there. "thank you" I say to the taxi driver and I give him the money. I take a huge breath and step out of the taxi with my suitcase and I approach the house. I take my sunglasses off and put them in my back pocket and I ring the door bell and a man opens it. "hello?" He asks. "hi does um Claire Pritchett live here?" I ask and he looks at me confused and nods. "yes, well her name is now Claire Dunphy" He says. "oh cool" I say. "Claire isn't home just yet so would you like to come in?" He asks and I take a deep breath and nod and I walk inside putting my suitcase down and he leads me to the sofa. I sit down and he sits opposite me. "so why do you want Claire? "He asks. "oh I'm her daughter and I want to see her, I haven't seen her since I was 6" I say and he looks at me in complete shock. "y-your her daughter" He asks again. "yeah my name is Lorelai Pritchett" I say. "well I'm her husband Phil" He says shaking my hand. "I guess your my step dad now" I say smiling and he smiles. "Dad whos this?" I girl asks. "Haley this is Lorelai" Phil says and I stand up and shake her hand. "I love your style" Haley says. "thank you, I love yours" I tell her and then the door opens. My heart stops and mum comes in and sees me and is shocked. "mum" I whisper and she has tears in her eyes.

Claire's POV

When I walk in my house I see my baby girl! I see my Lorelai. "Mum" She whispers and I drop my bags and run over to her crying and I tackle her with a hug and I kiss her head and hold her in a tight hug. "my baby girl" I say crying. "Mum I missed you" Lorelai cries and we both slowly sit onto the floor without letting go of each other. "I love you so much" I cry. "I love you too" She says and we both let go of each other and I put both my hands on her face. "your so gorgeous" I say with tears streaming down my face. "so are you mum, I cant believe I found you" She cries. "your 23" I cry and she nods. "yeah" She cries and I hug her again. "wait if she is 23 you were very young when you had her" Phil tells me and I nod. "yeah I had her at 16" I say and kiss her forehead and we both stand up wiping tears from our eyes. "So your my sister" Haley says excited. "Yeah I am" Lorelai says and they hug. "ALEX, LUKE COME IN THE LIVING ROOM" I shout and Alex and Luke come running in. "Alex and Luke this is Lorelai your sister" I say and they introduce their selves and hug. "its so nice to meet you guys" Lorelai says and they all start talking to each other about random stuff and I go to Phil and I cry happy tears into his chest. "I'm going to call dad" I say and I go to my phone and call my dad.

Claire and Jays phone call-

Claire- Hey dad

Jay- Hello Claire everything okay?

Claire- Yeah I was wondering if we could bring someone extra for our family dinner tonight?

Jay- Sure but who is it?

Claire- Its a surprise

Jay- Oh okay well I will see you guys and Cam and Mitchell at dinner at 5Pm

Claire- okay bye dad

Lorelai's POV

I'm sitting in the Living room with Alex and Haley and were talking about stuff. "How come we have never seen you before?" Alex asks and mum comes in listening. "Well um, mum can I tell them?" I ask and mum nods. "if you want" She says. "okay well, when I was 6 my dad took me away from mum" I say. "so kidnapping" Haley asks concerned. "basically" I admit and they look concerned and mum comes over to me and kisses my forehead and sits down on the couch next to me and holds my hand. "Baby where are you staying?" Mum asks me. "well I ran away from dads house because I wanted to find you, and he never let me move out so no where" I say. "we will turn the basement into your bedroom" Mum says and I frown. "Mum honestly, you don't need to do that, I will just try and rent a home with my job" I say and she shakes her head. "no, you are staying here, this is your home now" Mum says and I hug her. "wait you said job?" Mum asks happy. "yes and guess what job I got?" I ask and mum thinks and so does Haley and Alex. "stripper?" Haley asks and mum glares and her and I laugh. "no Haley" I say. "its just your pretty enough to" Haley says. "well thank you Haley, but no I'm a Marine Biologist" I say and mum squeals. "YOU GOT YOUR DREAM JOB" Mum screams. "I DID" I squeal back and she hugs me. "That's so cool, you have to be like smart to do that job" Alex says. "yeah I do, I had to pass Science and Maths" I inform them. "I'm so happy for you sweetie" Mum admits and I smile softly at her. "Your so cool" Alex says and I chuckle. "thanks Alex" I say. "how are you smart when your stylish" Haley questions and I smirk. "great skill" I tell them and mum smiles and goes into the kitchen and comes back in with water for me. "thank you" I say taking the glass of water from her. "Mum how is Grandpa and Uncle Mitchell?" I ask and she smiles. "Were going to see them tonight, I'm taking you to your Grandpa" Mum says and I squeal. "do you think they will still remember me?" I ask and she nods. "of course they will! you are your Grandpas Princess and Your Uncle Mitchells girl" She says and I see Haley and Alex look a little bit jealous but I just shrug it off. "I hope they do remember me" I say smiling.
