Modern Family- Claires Other Daughter

~Chapter Two~

Lorelai's POV

Me, Phil, Mum, Luke, Haley and Alex are all in the car on the way to Grandpas house. "Mum im nervous" I say rubbing my hands together. "I know sweetheart but it will be all okay" She tells me. "oh I forgot to say that your Grandpa has a new wife" Mum says and I look confused. "what happened to Grandma Dede" I ask. "oh she is somewhere in England with her new husband, we don't really speak to her anymore" Mum says and I nod my head. We all get out of the car and I am walking behind them because im really nervous. They knock on the door and Grandpa opens it. "Dad, we have a special guest for you" Mum says as they all walk in and I walk in and he drops a plate of food and looks at me in shock. "Grandpa" I say and he hugs me. "oh my god" He says and kisses my head. "hello grandpa" I say. "My princess" He says as he lets go of me and he has a tear down his face. "Jay are you crying?" Phil asks shocked. "of course I am! My Princess is back!" He says and hugs me again. A women walks over as im hugging Grandpa. "Whos this?" She asks with a thick accent. "This is my granddaughter, my princess she came back" Grandpa says and she looks shocked. "what" She asks. "Gloria this is Lorelai my daughter" Mum says and Gloria pulls me into a hug and hug her back with a giggle. "Im Gloria" She says as we let go from the hug. "Hello Gloria I love your accent by the way" I say and she smiles. "Knock knock were here" I hear Uncle Mitchell say and I turn around to face him. "UNCLE MITCH" I shout and he looks at me in complete shock and then runs over to me and hugs me really tight. "omg omg omg" He squeals. "Hey" I say and he puts both of his hands on my face. "You are so Gorgeous Lorelai, Oh my god your back your really back!" He squeals and hugs me really tight. "bones breaking" I say and he laughs and wipes his tears. "Cam this is my niece Lorelai and Lorelai this is my husband Cameron" He says and me and Cameron shake hands. "Cam this is my daughter Lorelai and I had her when I was 16" Mum says and he smiles at me. "Wow that's young Claire" Cam says. "Mhm" Mum says and Uncle Mitchell holds my hand and we all go into the garden and I'm inbetween Grandpa and Uncle Mitchell on the outside sofa. "Your not going to let go of my hand are you?" I ask Uncle Mitch. "Nope" he announces and mum smiles at me.

Claire's POV

"I missed you so much" Mitchell says to Lorelai and she rests her head on his shoulder. "I missed you too Uncle Mitch" She answers. I am so happy now that I have my Lorelai back. "Lorelai do you like shopping?" Gloria asks Lorelai. "yeah I do but I never got to go shopping so I don't have much experience" Lorelai answers and I sadly smile. "Okay then one day I will take you shopping" Gloria says. "thank you" Lorelai says happily. "righto who wants to eat?" Dad asks everyone. "Me" Everyone says except Lorelai. "Lorelai?" I ask. "oh I'm allowed to eat too?" Lorelai asks and we all look confused and worried at her. "Of course, why wouldn't you be allowed?" Mitchell says. "because dad only let me eat every other day, and I ate yesterday so I don't have food today" She says and I get really angry. "He did what" Dad says gritting his teeth. "baby you can eat when ever you want" I say and she smiles. "You guys are amazing" Lorelai says and Mitchell hugs her tighter. "Come on let's go" Gloria says and we all get up and I put my arm around Lorelais shoulder. I sit down at the table next to Lorelai, dad sits next to Lorelai and everyone else sits around the table. We all start to eat and we're all talking about random things.

No Ones POV
"This is lovely" Lorelai says eating. "Thank you Lorelai, I'm glad you like it" Gloria says. "Where's Manny?" Cameron asks. "He is with his father" Jay informs them. "So Haley how is Dylan?" Mitchell questions. "We broke up" Haley admits. "What? You didn't tell us this" Phil says. "Because It's no big deal" Haley states.

After Dinner

Mitchell, Claire, Lorelai and Jay are sitting in the living room while everyone else is in the garden. Claire and Jay are sitting on one sofa as Mitchell and Lorelai are sitting on the other one that's next to the other. Lorelai lays her head on Mitchell's lap and he strokes her hair. "I love you guys" Lorelai says as she falls asleep. Claire looks over and sees that Lorelai has fallen asleep. "Mitchell, Lorelai has fallen asleep I should get her home" Claire says. "Honey wake up" Mitchell says shaking Lorelai slightly and she opens her eyes. "Hey sleeping beauty" Mitchell says and she sits up. "Lets get you home" Claire says and helps her up. "Bye princess" Jay says and hugs Lorelai.
