Rae explained that she didn't want to push me into trying to remember which I appreciated a lot. A lot was going on, too much to be honest.

The voices in my head, amplified by 1000. There was some sort of discussion going on that I didn't want to be a part of. More than anything I just wanted to go home.

It'd been half a day and I still have yet to see my new room or anything of that matter.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when someone was tapping my shoulder. It was Sykkuno.

"Em?" he looked gentle but a bit confused. I am too buddy, I thought to myself.

"Hm?" even though his mask I could see his adorable smile which made me smile on return. He patted my shoulder then pointed toward the people who just came in.

My manager and I'm guessing lawyer.

I stood up and my manager, Eliza, hugged me. She's been with me for a long time even though she wasn't really my manager.

When I first started I didn't have a manager, I didn't feel like I needed one. She came to me asking me if she could manage me to get her career off the ground. She is incredibly sweet and I related to her so much that I said yes.

Whenever I needed help with something she's the one I called but most of the time I did things on my own. I don't even remember calling her here, must have been someone else.

She squeezed me tightly and I, of course, hugged back. If I weren't tired I'd probably be balling like a baby right now.

She pulled away first and sat me back down. I looked between her and the lawyer, they both had sad looks on their face. I know the situation was sad but this kind of look was about more than what happened to me.

"Eliza, please tell me, " she looked at me and I could tell she was about to cry.

"There was a woman there that was supposed to be at the station you went to. They thought maybe she was just slacking off but they still went to search for her to get her statement." I felt Rae grab my hand, I held hers back then grabbed Sykkuno's as well.

Eliza continued, "They looked everywhere and finally they found her in a closet. The doctors confirmed he sexually assaulted and committed battery against her."

The lawyer beside Eliza rubbed her back as she finished. I heard Rae crying beside me but I also started to feel myself go numb. It started with my arms and spread up my arms like crazy. Then my vision started to blur but before anything could happen Rae was gently calling my name.

"Hm?" I asked softly. Her eyes were red and puffy, twins just like mine, and her hand was shaking a bit.

"We're going to take you home, " she responded. I looked at her for a second, still trying to get a grip of my surroundings but the thought of getting out of here also made me cry tears of joy.

I just nodded cause everything hurt and I didn't want to be here any longer. I didn't even know that they weren't holding my hands anymore, they felt cold and empty.

I looked at Rae as she stood up and I stood up right after her. I felt woozy but not enough to tip over.

Soon we were out the door and walking up to an Uber. Sykunno put my bags into the trunk then walked to his side. I looked at the door handle but didn't open it.

"Em?" I looked up at Rae, not hiding the worry in my eyes.

"How are we getting to-"

"The Uber will drive us. It'll only be a few hours we'll make it there before it's too late." I nodded before slowly opening the door and getting in.

I didn't mind riding there in a car, I don't think I could take going to another airport right now.

I wanted nothing but sleep.

I felt Sykunno scout closer to me so I glanced at him. He reached up and guided my head to lay on his shoulder. I curled into him also immediately.

Most people would find this very uncomfortable but honestly, it was amazing having a friend to comfort you. My whole body was drained even my mind.

Sykunno gently ran his fingers through my hair, completely soothing me. After a couple of minutes, everything about me was relaxed.

I woke up from someone's hand slowly shaking me. My heart began to race and I shoot up.

The person who was shaking me awake gasped and backed away. I opened my eyes to see it was Sykunno.

My breathing was heavy as I looked at him.

"I'm so sorry I didn't mean to scare you, " I immediately stopped him, feeling bad.

"You're okay! You didn't scare me just a nightmare. This isn't the house?"

I looked behind him, he was standing in the open door. I looked over his shoulder and saw we were at what looked like a resort with separate housing. It was a nice neighborhood for sure.

I looked up in the front seat to see Rae was looking at me but she wasn't getting out of the car.

"You guys.."

"Just go!" Rae interrupted.

I reached up and smacked her arm lightly which made me laugh and her whine. Sykunno reached his hand out and helped me out of the car. I thanked him before he leads me to one of the houses.

He knocks on the door so I take this chance to look around. It was like apartments but spread almost like houses, it's was hard to explain. I looked over to ask Sykkuno about where we were but he wasn't there.

'Oh what the hell,' I turned around to see that he and the car were gone.

As I was turning back around the door to the apartment was opening. I felt my heart race pick up again and I honestly braced for the worst.

"Angel?" I heard the deep voice and I spun around so quickly that Jupiter got jealous.

Shooting up into his arms, I heard him groan but I still wrapped my arms and legs around him tightly. I felt him run his fingers through my hair while the other hand held me up.

"Hey, Angel, " he said softly.

"Hi, Corpse, " I said softly, squeezing him even tighter.
