-Maki Harukawa's POV-

Perfect. I hate to say it, but my idiot boyfriend's plan is actually working. Not like I'd say it to him or anything, but it's turning out to be an okay plan. Maybe I'm giving him too much credit, though, because we haven't been doing much to help their "budding romance" as Kaito calls it.

Well, all I can do is wait. It's his time to shine as he gets the dumbasses unloaded out of his pickup.  Does he have his license? Even I don't know that one, but all I can say is he's awful at driving.

"Well well well well well..." a high pitched voice snickered.

"WHAT do you want Kokichi?" Kaito snarled, completely fed up with Kokichi.

"Kokichi lets just go..." a calmer voice chided. A messy mop of green hair came out from the shadows and stood next to the supreme leader, steering both out of the way of my glare.

"Its Christmas shopping time!" Kaito said with a smile. I tried, and failed, not to make a mental note of how cute he was when he made that face.  Although Kaede celebrates Hanukkah, she does Christmas with us, too. We (Kaito) kind of forced her to. As we walked past the stores, we saw a group of several kids- probably not more than 15, marveling. A red haired one slapped one with a buzz cut and a curly haired one talked about a "Suzie" . Oh well, can't think too much on that one,

"Hey, Kaito? Can we go into that store for a minute?" Shuichi asked his best friend.

"Yeah, okay broski." The two went into the shop and disappeared. I was walking, looking at shops with Kaede when she found a bookstore she wanted to go into.

"Agatha Christie... these would be perfect for Shuichi! I *have* to get him these!!" Kaede squealed excitedly. As she looked through the books for something he'd like, my phone buzzed.

'Plan: in motion. Ship: sailing. Present: for Kaede. Hotel: Trivago' it read. Obviously from Kaito.

"Maki? Are you listening?" her voice snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah, sorry. Murder on the Orient Express... Death on the Nile... ABC Murders... all good titles." Not that I'd tell her but I've read them all. It's important to know how detectives' minds work.

"Time to find a gift for Kaito now!" Kaede cried and dragged me out of the store.

Once the shopping was all done, we loaded back into Kaito's pickup and sped (yes, quite literally breaking the speed limit) to his house.

I haven't uploaded in almost a year. And I'm sorry. I've fallen out of Danganronpa a lot within the past few months. However, I still like it just not as much as I used to. Plus, I won't be on here as much considering I have school and sports and stuff, but I'll try to upload if I can. I'm so sorry this was short, but it's New Years and I want to spend it with my family. See you all in 2022! Happy holidays and new years :)

Special shout out to the WWW without whom I would probably not be where i am today. I love you all more than life itself. Except maybe Konos./j
