I, Too

I too am an adult

I am mature

They send me to kid parties

When they have adult parties

But I know what happens

And pretend to be naive

And lie to myself

Tomorrow,

I'll show my full self

When I show my true colors

Nobody'll dare

Say to me,

"You're too young"

Then

Besides,

They'll see how old I am

and be astonished

I,too, am an adult
