1 - Crush

Lia's POV :

Today, I woke up early, prepared myself for breakfast and relaxed before I went to school cuz I finished my maths homework that teacher gave.
I felt really good this morning and the fact that I didn't meet the jerk on my way to school made me smile. Brayden, the jerk and I live in the same neighborhood. His house is only five houses away from mine and I felt great that I didn't meet him this morning.
But,
That was UNTIL, SOMEONE SMACKED MY HEAD FROM BEHIND.

I knew who it was...my enemy...

"Hi dumbo" Brayden said. I turned around and gave a hard smack on his hand and he groaned in pain...
"That hurts dumbo" He said.
"Oops! I'm sorry kiddo, lemme take you to the hospital asap" I rolled my eyes and started to walk as I was already late and this jerk is making me more late.

As usual *sigh* he is following me because we go to the same college and I have such a bad luck that the jerk is in my class. We know each other....sorry....we are enemies from past 2 years...That jerk broke my favorite necklace which my best friend Amy had gifted me on my birthday. So for the revenge, I broke his precious watch.

So Hi! Out of nowhere...I would like to introduce myself. My name is Lia Williams. I am 18 years old. I have a brother, Aaron Williams. My bestie is Amy. My life was perfect...until I met a jerk named Brayden. He is very intelligent...but we can't call him nerd cuz he is not one. But I call him because it irritates him and that's what I want. My brother has a bad choice because his best friend is Brayden...that means...even I have a bad choice cuz....I have a crush on him. Yes. You read it right. He is my crush from past 1 year. I never confessed to him because he hates me. He is a handsome nerd. I am not smart. I get B or C grade...where he gets A+. Sad! Anyways....

Brayden : Hey hey...no one wants to hear your stupid introduction...so shut up...

Hi! My name is Brayden. I am 18 years old. My best friend is Aaron. My crush is Lia...haha, secret crush. We are known as the 'best enemies' of the college. You will know soon how we are the 'best'. ;)

We reached our college and he went towards his gang and I went towards Amy. "Hi Li" said Amy. "Hey Amy!"
We were walking to the class together, silently until Amy broke the silence.
"So....How does it feel to come to college with a handsome boy huh?" She said with a playful smirk. "Will you stop with that smirk" I said while smacking her hand. "Ouch! Instead of coming with your brother, you come with your enemy? You are so lucky Lia...He is so handsome...all the girls drool over him...his eyes, his smile, his body..." Okay...so again she has started with her fan girling...I don't deny the fact that he is handsome but he is very annoying. "Stop it Amy. Why do you always repeat the same thing?" I asked. "Because he is handsome." Amy said with an obvious face. We reached our class and sat down beside each other.

Soon Brayden came in class with my brother. I looked up and saw him...his eyes were on me and....he was smirking? Yes! He was.

What was that smirk for?
