10 - Detention

Lia's POV:

Math is so boring.

Mrs. Kim gave us 20 sums to solve in just 10 minutes.....should I tell her to play tennis with legs?

Finally the class got over but none of us completed the 20 sums.

/In the cafe/

I was walking with Amy to grab some snacks.

Aaron and Brayden were coming to do the same. They noticed us and came towards us.

Amy and Aaron left without saying anything. Rude.

Me and Brayden were left.

"Hey dumbo!"

"Hi jerk!"

We were normally talking for the first time for sometime about random stuff when suddenly an irritating voice interrupted.

"Hey Bray babe!" Suzy came and started to lean on Brayden.

I was very angry.

My man...I mean...Brayden pushed her and stood beside me.

"Bray! Why are you always with her? She is not even beautiful. I can give you all you want babe. She doesn't even have a proper figure. Just come with me- " Suzy started with her drama. Brayden stopped her in between and said,

"Whatever it is! Lia is better than you. She is not a slut like you. So please just fuck off from here before I kick you out of the college" Brayden said. Good one boy!

"No Bray...Let me complete. She is fat and she doesn't suits you. I am beautiful with gorgeous looks. I am slim and I am very good on bed also" Suzy said with a seducing voice.

Brayden was very annoyed and angry.

I was way more angry than Brayden was...She called me fat and ugly? She just called my man on bed? Such a slut Suzy!

"Can you get the trash bag please?" I said to Brayden. I was very irritated.

"For what?" He was confused.

"There is trash here, a big one" I said while pointing towards Suzy.

Suzy was angry and gave me a look of 'wth, girl are you serious' and suddenly attacked on me and pulled me by my hair.

This is so usual to me since I'm getting used playing boxing with my brother when we were kids.

But before I could react or maybe attack...Suzy suddenly fell on her own and started to cry and that made me more annoyed.

Karma bitch! Karma!

"She pushed me" Suzy cried in an annoying high pitch voice.

Let me go the washroom and vomit.

"Seriously. Liar. Oh my god...where are you from...A barbie doll factory?" I flashed an annoyed and disbelief face.

"You! Stop lying okay. I saw you were attacking on my girl and you fell on your own...stop blaming her...oh god...Lia why are we wasting our time by talking with trash? Let's go." He said and held my hand. We exited from the cafe, leaving a dumb Suzy who was still lying on the floor.

My girl.

Did I just hear it right? Were my ears dreaming?

He just said 'My girl'.

My heart is beating very fast. I am his.

But he never told that to me...maybe he just told that to get rid of the bitch.

Ahhh! I can't understand.

"Lia...Lia Williams...Hello? You there? Dumbo.." Brayden was calling out. Oh! I was busy in my thoughts.

"Yes" I replied.

"Thank god you replied. I thought you were dead with open eyes while standing" He said. I gave him the worst death glare.

He chuckled.

"Okay okay! Let's go in now. You remember...We have 3 hours detention?" He said.

I nodded and we went inside the detention class.

He was still holding my hand.

Never leave me Brayden.

We sat on the chairs and the detention teacher came. Mrs. Brown.

She is very sweet and kind.

"Y'all are here again. So...I won't be sitting here because we have a college meeting now. Till that y'all will sit here and no mischief." She said and left the classroom.

We were alone. There was an awkward silence but the jerk broke it.

"Ugh...It's so boring here. Lia let's go on the roof." He suggested.

Not a bad idea!

"What if we get caught?" I asked.

"They are busy in the meeting no one will see us and we will come back before the time ends." He said.

I agreed and we secretly made our way to the rooftop.

"Wow...It's so good here. Pleasant sky, wind. The sky is so beautiful today. I love it." I said while looking to the sky.

"Yes. It's very beautiful" He said....he said while looking at me.

I turned my head and saw Brayden was already looking at me intensely.

"I love you" He said....Really?

Am I dreaming?

"Uh...uh...I mean the sky and the weather...I love it" He was stuttering and started to rub the back of his neck.

It was for the weather and sky.

I wish he would love me.

Brayden's POV:

What did I say just now?

The truth.

She hates me and she would be thinking that I am mad.

I quickly said that I like the sky and the weather....that was a lie.

I love her so much. But I don't want her to reject me and break my heart. But soon I will confess my love to her because I can't wait to make her mine...

I wish she would love me.

Her head was up...at the sky with her eyes closed. I was staring at her. She is perfect, beautiful, kind with others but a cute little silly girl with me...ahhhh...i love her so much.

Suddenly we heard some noises on the roof which made Lia flinched and she opened her eyes.

We both saw each other.

"Did you hear it?" She asked.

"Yes..." I said. She moved a little closer to me.

Where are the noises coming from?
