Himiko's pov
"Finally it is done. After three months, it is finally done." I said tiredly looking down into the cauldron admiring crystal blue colour inside it. I was glad that I was done with this potion because I could finally get those hours of sleep that I've been missing.
And yeah, maybe also catch up with my friends. They have been really worried for me since I spent months in my lab, not even getting out to go to the bathroom. Most of them even visited me and either bring me food or volunteered to help me.
Except for Kokichi.
Whenever he came in he would always mess with my other potions or try to mess up the one that I was working on. He would always ask,
"Are you done yet?" "Can I see?" "What do these other potions do?" "Let me see ittttt!" "pleeaasseeee?"
It was very annoying. Luckily Tenko was there for me saying that she would break all of his limbs if he came back to bother me.
He had stopped coming into my lab after that.
"Alright, now to put this along with my shelf of potions." I say grabbing a beaker, an empty glass bottle, and a funnel.
I took the beaker and took some of the potion out from the cauldron and set it down on the table. Then I opened up the bottle and placed the funnel on it. Then I grabbed the beaker and poured the potion into the bottle.
Once it was filled up, I had picked up the cauldron that had the remains of the potion and put it hanging over a small fire in the fire place so in case if I want to use it again, it'll have better results.
When I had placed the cauldron there, I had also placed a lid over it to keep the smell from invading my lab. Some potions smell quite strong when finished, some smell really nice, and some...not so much.
"Hey! Himiko!" A voice called to me, I turned around to see Tenko there smiling at the door to my lab, I greeted her as she walked in and looked at all of the potions that I've brewed in the past.
( A/n; keep in mind this is not the killing game it's just a normal life in hope's peak academy)
"Are you done with your potion you've been making for the past few months?" She turned over to me. I had gotten too tired to talk from the whole process so I just nodded and pointed over to the bottle on the table.
She walked over to it and admired the colour. I smirked at her being wildly impressed, "That's really cool Himiko! What does it do?"
"Well, it does this," I grabbed the bottle and looked around to see a small little plant sitting on my window sill. I have been watering it and putting it outside in the sun but it was still growing slower than I thought it was going to be.
And yes, I have checked if this was a real plant or not, and it is.
"Hopefully this will work." I whispered under my breath, I crossed my fingers in my mind. If it wouldn't work, I would have to go through 3 more sleepless months.
I opened up the bottle and let it drip one drop on the plant and waited.
A few moments later, my plant had started to grow. It had grew more leaves and a white flower and started blooming.
It worked! It really did.
"Wow! Your potion made your flower grow! I a so proud of you Himiko!" Tenko said while giving me a bear hug. She was hugging me so tight that I couldn't even breathe.
3rd-person pov
When Tenko knew about Himiko's predicament, she quickly let go of her and started apologising repeatedly.
Himiko kept telling her that it was alright and she was fine but Tenko ignored her.
"Come on! We have to show this to everyone else!" Tenko said while grabbing Himiko's wrist. Not letting her catch up on the way there so she kept tripping on her feet at some moments.
They left so quickly that Himiko didn't even have time to put the bottle on the shelf and now it was left unsupervised.
And little did they know that a little purple-haired boy was just right at the corner of the lab,
listening.
