Chapter 15

WHAT THE HELL. I almost just burst itnto tears here and now, in front of my friends. "You guys" I said, figuring I could tell them because they're clearly the closest thing I have besides my mom n cameron.

"Yeah?" They said almost at the same time. I started tearing up and they stopped walking. "What's wrong?!" Asks Toni.

"My dads being released from jail. I have to go. I'm so scared and I'm not sure what's going to happen. He could get half custody of me.." I complain. They both give me some basic sympathy and stuff and I leave to my house.

When I get home I run inside to find my mom. She was upstairs in her room. On my way up my phone vibrated in my pocket. Of course, it was cameron. I had to ignore it right now.

"Mom?!" I yelled. No response. "MOM" I Said louder. I opened the door to her room and saw her sitting on her bed. I asked her if she was okay first, and she asked me the same.

"Alex, I'm so sorry but it's happening. He's being released and he has court custody I fought as much as I could but he still won little bit of it." Now I bursted into tears.

"Have you seen him, talk to him or anything?!" I said.

"Yeah he's not in the best shape but I definitely don't think he's going to try to kill you." she said.

"Well where does he live or where is he going to live?" I questioned.

"Near here it has to be very near me in case of emergency where I can get you." this relieved me knowing I'll be close to my friends Cameron and my mom. maybe it wouldn't be so bad after all but I can't make up my mind yet untill at least meet my dad once.

"But mom, doesn't he need time to get a house and everything and get himself a job and get himself together? So does that mean that I have a while until I am in his custody, or?"

"One month, one month that's all you have so prepare yourself because there's nothing else I can do except try to be here for you." She said. "I'm sorry."

She hugged me as we both cried. I'm going to try to make the best out of this but who knows how it's gonna go. I'm trying to think positive about it but I need to get my mind off of it.

About an hour later of sulking and crying in my room, I called Cameron.

"Alex, I have been trying to get a hold of you. Is everything okay?" Cameron said as soon as he answered the phone.

"I I guess you can say I'm okay. I need to talk to you though and I need to spend some time with you if it's okay with you."

"Yeah come over whenever. I hope everything's okay we'll work it out. Bring stuff in case you spend the night." He added. He's too sweet.

I asked my mom if it was okay if I stay with my friends tonight even though she didn't know it was Cameron. If things really do work out between us im going to have to introduce him to her. And my dad.

My mom said it was okay for me to go, so I had to go pack up some stuff and I decided I would drive rather than walk because I wasn't in the mood.

Eventually I was ready to go and I drove over to Cameron's house. I knocked on the door in about a minute later he came and opened it. He was shirtless in some Adidas sweatpants. He is killing me just by looks.

I can't stand it. "hi princess. Now, you better tell me what's going on." He hugged me. I had to explain everything to him. all of it. We talked about what would happen and how he'd be here for me. We watched a movie and snuggled.

We had just finished watching a movie and the credits were playing. it was about 8;30 at night. I rolled over and looked cameron in the eyes. We both sat up and stretched.

He leaned over and kissed me on my cheek. I wanted more so I kissed him on the lips. It escalated from there and we kept kissing. All with so much passion. We started using tounge and it got more intense untill I was
on top of him and he began kissin down my neck.

The feeling was irresistible but I still couldn't do it right now. I rolled over.

"I wasn't going to make you do anything." He said.

"I know. I just wasn't in the mood." I said. He nodded and we decided to go on a walk.
