Chapter 9

We started walking out of the water, but cam was still carrying me. Finally he set me down and we just walked back and grabbed towels.

"Burgers!" Matt said and gave everyone paper plates. Wow I didn't think Matthew would be cooking. Lol

"Thanks bro" cam said. Wow he's adorable. What's wrong with me? Me and cam grabbed our food and towels and walked a little bit away from everyone and layed on our towels.

"Thanks again for this morning. " I smiled and poked at my burger because I wasn't even hungry.

"Anytime." he smiled really big at me.

"I really like you." I said looking me in the eyes. wow.

"Aw. I like you a lot too. " He so sweet.

We ate listening to the speaker music and telling eachother stories about childhood and stuff. Things about eachother.

"Where's your dad?" he asks.

I just looked away and got really quiet. No no no I can't do it.

"Well..." I began

"It's okay. I'm here." he smiles and grabs my hand.

"When my mom told my dad she was pregnant, he took off. He just left. My mom has raised me alone."

He rubbed my hand. "it's okay."

"it's not though." I said back. we looked at eachoyher in the eyes.

"Let's not talk about this. I'm sure this is almost over and we can go walk on the boardwalk or hangout at my house ok?" I nodded and put my head on my towel and my hand on his back.

I ended up falling asleep and Matthew said I slept for an hour. When I woke up the sun was setting and everyone was sitting by the fire, including cam.

Suddenly I started getting a sick feeling in my stomach. I clutched my stomach and stood up and ran towards the empty sidewalk. Cam soon came up behind me as I started throwing up into the bush.

How embarrassing. all the guy were looking at me. fun. I keep throwing up as cameron rubs my back.

"it's gonna be okay."

I finally stopped throwing up and me and cameron just started walking as I put a towel around myself and we walked towards his house.
