Apollo woke-up like never before, he was ready for what was about to come his way. Walking out of his messy room, he was met by his cat Chanel, she was sitting near the staircase, and was looking straight into his soul. She wanted something he just knew it, but this time he couldn't put his finger on it. Chanel was a black cat with short fluffy fur that covered her whole body, she was brought home by Apollo's mum who had gotten her from a website. Chanel was cheap and cute, that's what prompted the purchase. Apollo's mum, Jessica was a very simplistic woman, she liked everything the way it was. She had an amazingly small family; she had a good job that paid well and was optimistic. She was optimistic as her optimism paid off in the past and she liked the idea of thinking positive towards the future. Apollo made his way downstairs slowly, walking down the carpet-less stairs, he heard his mum in the kitchen. He knew it was her as the kettle was on and mugs were clinging against each other like church bells. He walked into the kitchen and greeted his mum with a simple good morning, Jessica replied with a smile, that's what she always did. Apollo got his daily fix of cereal and made his way to the living room which was fairly close to the kitchen. Sitting down on the cold leather sofa, Apollo turned on the TV and began scrolling on things he could watch. He decided to watch the early morning news, he normally didn't watch the news but today he thought he wanted to try something different. Two minutes later his mum walked in and joined him, they both liked each other's company, they got along better together, or at least that's what Apollo thought. Shortly after watching the early morning news, Jessica stood up and made her way into the garden, she took out a packet of Marlboro cigarettes from her pocket and lit one up and began to puff away, each inhale and exhale, the end of the cigarette turning red, ash floating down onto the floor. The wind blowing slowly, hitting Jessica's hair. Apollo took no notice of his mum, he continued to watch the endless ads on the TV. Apollo was calm and collected, like he always was, he never got angry at anyone, he was what you would expect any normal teenager to be, walking back inside Jessica smiled at Apollo, she meant this smile, she put all her soul into that tooth-less smile. Jessica made her way back to sit down with Apollo, she didn't sit next to him, she sat about two meters away from him, it wasn't because she didn't like him it was because she had her spot, and he had his spot. After a short while they both got up and made way into the kitchen, Jessica began cooking and Apollo went to the fridge to get out a snack, he then made his way to his room. He sat down at the white desk where his computer rested, he turned the computer on. After it finally turned on he began to click through the idle screen and, he selected a game and began to play it. He wasn't into computer games, but he had some time to kill, did he really?
