Project Freelancer (chapter 2)

Six's point of view

Admiral: The job I have for you is simple. We have been funding a project lately called project freelancer, it is the idea of creating a armor that is much like a spartans but it is weaker in durability. The main reason we had decided to fund this project is that we don't have to do surgery to make sure you can even hold it. Since there is no guarantee of survival as you know. We may be making newer lighter spartan armor were there is a higher chance of survival but none will have the strength like the spartan three's and two's. But all we want to do is have you see if they were worth the funding. Do you understand Six?

Six: Yes ma'am but I do have one question if I may ask.

Admiral: Go ahead.

Six: What happens if I find something that is against what you thought the project was for.

Admiral: I want you to report it to your AI.

Six: Excuse me ma'am did you say AI.

Admiral: Yes I did, report back to your room and just hang out until you are called over the PA we will have your armor fixed and you will get your AI since you have already gone through the mental training, after you get your armor. And one more thing, your cover is to simply to give assistance and to compare the strength to that of a spartan against a freelancer. If you understand you are dismissed.

I stand up and salute her and exit the room. I head back to my room and lay down, I quickly fell asleep.

Timeskip 2 hours

PA: Can spartan B-312 report to the armory.

I get up and walk through the hallways towards the armory. I walk into the armory walking up to the guy behind the desk.

DG= Stands for Desk guy

DG: Do you need something sir?

Six: Yeah I'm here for my armor, I'm Spartan B-312

DG: Oh its awesome to meet a legend like you, just follow me.

I follow the guy to a big locker.

DG: Here is your armor.

A/N: If you forgot this is the armor.

The desk guy walks away and I put the armor on and stopped to look at the helmet. Remembering what had happened for the AI training.

Flashback
( By the way this is when they were around 10)
Professor: Alright kids we have a training AI for you all to see who can handle any AI in the future.

There were 80 or so of us in front of the AI professor. We were all doing training to see who was compatible with AI.

Professor: Alright you come over hear.

He had pointed to the girl standing next to me. She walks forward towards the professor.

Professor: Alright please lay down face first on the bed and put your head on that pad there.

The girl followed the instructions and layed down on the bed and put her face on the pad. The big machine that was above the bed then started to move towards the girl and the professor injected the girl with something.

Professor: Don't worry its so you won't feel any pain.

Once the professor injected the pain reliver the machine moved down and started to do stuff the the top of her neck but before we knew it she was done.
