(Author's note- once again you can safely assume that these images I make are not to scale and not accurate. For example- balcony doors do not open like that. The toilet is right in front of the door. Don't take these things literally. You have a good idea of where things are in her house.)

The house was... small... Or maybe Victoria was just used to the convenience of luxury living... No, it was small.

It was cute though, she'll give it that. It was small (but she already said that), square, made out of the same red brick and tan stone the rest of the school was made of. It seemed to be in a cottage or carriage house style with a black roof and shutters. Victoria stopped in front of the front door and looked at the two professors behind her. They both nodded and she opened the black door.

The living room was gorgeous, with white couches, brown leather chairs, a chest for a center table, a red brick fireplace. One wall was red exposed brick, one was white, and two were built-in bookshelves. The floors were hardwood but had a pale pink and cream rug under the furniture. In the back of the living room was a half wall separating it from the kitchen. The kitchen was an L shape with a nice plain table in the middle of the L. On the living, room side was a breakfast bar with wooden stools and the other had a white farmhouse sink. The cupboards with white and the backsplash had more exposed brick. In the corner of the kitchen was a home office setting. Between the office setting and the stairs was a cat tree! Speaking of which...

"Ambrosia?" She called out. After waiting a moment she heard a thump and the kitten came half tumbling half flying down the stairs. The kitten stayed at the bottom of the steps to lick her fur back.

"Aww sweet girl," Victoria picked the cat up and cuddled her. "Well let's see where you were upstairs, shall we?"

The upstairs had two doors. The door straight ahead was open and she could see a bathroom. So she went to the closed door to her right. It brought her to a nice bedroom with red brick and creams and pinks. Ambrosia had a pink cat bed in the corner by the closet- which by the way was small but walk-in. By the closet was another door that led to the same bathroom one could get to from the outside.

All of her toiletries were in the bathroom. All of her clothing was in the walk-in closet. Her favorite pillow was in a pillowcase that matched the bedspread. She walked back to the hallway and noticed a balcony. She went there. It looked over the pathway to the front door. She could see a jackalope nibbling on grass. On the balcony were two iron chairs with cream cushions on the seats and an iron tea table.

"It's mine," Victoria stated to the two professors who were waiting for her on the main floor.

"Well, we don't know," Vice President Vitowski started kindly.

"We do know," Victoria said insistently.

"With all due respect, Madam Vice President," Professor Walters started, "I agree with Ms. Goldbloom. The house magically appeared at the time she was sorted. The letter in the kitchen was addressed to her with a prophecy but a dead seer. It seems very clear that Ms. Goldbloom is the completion of a prophecy."

"Well, when you say it like that. Yes alright," She conceded. "It's almost time for dinner. Ms. Goldbloom why don't you take time to settle in, find your friends or make friends, and dinner will be served in two hours. Usually, students are in the outdoor sitting area near here around this time. Go join them. Be a normal student for a while. We will make a game plan if you will after dinner."

"Thank you, professors," she whispered, too overwhelmed to say much more.

There was a park-like outdoor area that was filled with students. House Elves were even setting out snacks and drinks on outdoor tables. Victoria popped a piece of cheese in her mouth, then another. She popped her fifth piece of cheese into her mouth when Oliver found her.

"Are you okay? What happened? Where were you? Everyone is talking about you!" He exclaimed anxiously. Victoria popped another piece of cheese in her mouth then held her finger up for him to wait.

"I'm fine. Really. I don't really know what's going on but I'm fine."

"Well you must know something!"

"I do but... Have you seen Alex and Zach?"

"Yeah they're looking for you too. They wanted to introduce you to some of their friends."

"Great let's go find them."

Victoria, Ollie, Zach, Alex, and now their new friends Jared, Denyse, and Christie all found a place to sit cross legged in a circle in the park. It took a while to find a place where they wouldn't be hit by exploding quads or quaffles, but at least they found a place.

Victoria told them everything from the moment after the sorting. After a while they stopped talking about the drama in Victoria's life and continued to chat about school, home, and classes. Then Ollie and Tori started asking questions.

"Oh yeah your timetable will magically appear on your desk tomorrow morning. They're still figuring stuff out tonight," Denyse said.

"You can sit anywhere you want in the mess hall unless it's a formal meal like the welcoming feast or an official school function like a rally or a meeting. But if it's just dinner like tonight or just breakfast like in the morning we can sit where we want."

"So where will I sit?"

Denyse made a sound like 'I dunno' and said "At the head table next to Headmaster?"

"Gosh I hope not," Victoria said lightly, though deep down she really hoped not. Everyone laughed.

"Well maybe you can just pick where you wanna sit," Alex said comfortingly.

"That would be nice." Victoria sent Alex a thankful look.

They continued on with their conversation until it was time for dinner. As they got up, Victoria's phone buzzed. She looked at it.

"Dang it it's my parents. I'll meet you guys in the hall?"

"Don't worry I'll wave you down when you come in," Alex said.

"Thanks see you there." They all walked away and she turned her back on the way they were going as she took the call.

"Hi mom," Victoria said meekly.

"So we were watching the sorting," Pipa Goldbloom said casually.

"I'm sure you were," She chuckled.

"So what happened?"

"I dunno," She whined. "So this house magically appeared..."

"Oh your Vice President of the school sent us a letter. We just got it. I just wanted to hear from you."

"Well apparently I have a prophecy about me."

"I heard about that too," she said kindly.

"I'm not special enough to have a prophecy about me! I'm not Harry Potter! There's no Voldemort! I don't understand!"

"Sweetheart you know Hermione did some research-"

"Enough about Hermione Weasley! I am not her! I am not as smart as her or as powerful as her!"

"She said it for a reason!" Her mom yelled. Victoria stopped talking. "Yes! Hermione is powerful! In fact she's so powerful she could feel other's power. She knows you're powerful. She knew you were meant for something special. Now what I was gonna say was: Hermione did some research about divination after the war. The majority of prophecies aren't nearly as dramatic or serious as the one Harry Potter had. Sometimes some people just need a little help or push to their destiny."

"So I'm not in danger?" Victoria asked in a small voice.

"I doubt it," her mom said kindly. Victoria let out a breath she didn't know she was holding in.
