Canon ships. :]

_____

Normally, I'm asleep during the time period where the boat sails to the new island. Chromesuki had mentioned this boat ride would be much longer than the previous two had been.

Shortly after I finished my long nap, I woke up to see what everyone else was doing. I ventured down the hallway of ship, only to discover it was early in the morning and I assumed all the others were asleep.

Nonetheless, I went exploring solo.

Atop the ship was the sight of a dawn sky and an empty still sea. I noticed the water no longer had ice in it, so if someone were to fall off they would not freeze to death. I would have sat alone and starred at the pink explosion of the sky in awe until someone woke up and made breakfast, but the littlest of sounds grabbed my attention.

The sound of someone wiping their tears and sniffling, ever so lightly.

I quietly followed the sound, curious to see who I would find crying at 4 am. I would also like to know why they are crying and how I could make them feel better, if possible.

Then I saw.

The last person I would have expected to break apart, stood by the boat's railing with their face buried in their arms.

"Prisha?" I forgot that I trying to be stealthy.

I instantly covered mouth, remembering my goal of being stealthy. The cyanette made a sharp turn to glare at me with her face red from blubbering.

"Go away," She rasped, hoping to keep this interaction short.

"Why?" I questioned, tilting my head.

"Because I said so," Her voice shook as she spoke. "Now go the fuck away."

"Why were you crying?" I asked, not moving. "Are you okay?"

"It doesn't matter." She dismissed. "Now go away and forget whatever you think you saw."

"But I-" I protested, reached out my hand to comfort her.

"I said go away!" She shouted as her glasses reflected a white light, blinding me from seeing her eyes.

"But I want to help," I told her, inching towards her slowly.

"I don't want your fucking help!" She yelled.

"Well, you always say the opposite of what you mean," I told her, stepping closer. "So, you do want to help."

"No, I don't." She argued. "I don't want anyone's fucking help for anything."

"But-" I stretched a hand out to her, only to be intercepted by a slap from her own.

"I-I'm gonna go," She tightly crossed her arms and held her head down, avoiding looking at me. "...I just make everything worse."

She began to dash away, but I used my other hand to stop her from leaving.

"No- Wait, Prisha!" I quickly thought of something to say. "You don't make everything."

"You're just saying that," She told me.

"No, I'm not," I replied.

"Then what do you think?" She turned to me, adjusting her glasses. "If I don't make everything worse, then what do I do?"
