Author Note:

If I'm remembering things correctly, I put a lot of random references in this chapter.

Also, it's a bit rushed.

I found myself landing on a soft mattress once again. The feeling of its comfortableness made me remember how odd the trial room was set up. The idea of falling through the floor, everyone landing on a mattress of their own, and then it leading to the trial room.

As I got up I noticed that two more portraits with a pink 'X' had been added behind the podiums. One for Ocean and another for Arlen.

I noticed Naomi avoid looking at Arlen's portrait on her way to her podium.

Everyone silently waiting for Monocroak to climb onto his throne. Last time he was already sitting on it, so the issue of him struggling to climb up was not a factor. After a few more minutes of the frog awkwardly not being talk enough to get on his throne passed, Leo ran over to him and put him on his chair.

"I see someone is comfortable with the robots," Prisha teased him, pointing out how the artist is the only one who really talks with Monocroak. "That's pretty suspicious if you ask me."

"I would much rather talk with the frog as opposed to any of you," He admitted before looking towards the direction of the frog mascot. "Let's get this over with."

"Alrighty! Allow me to give a basic explaination of the Class Trial!" The frog mascot tried his best to push past his awkward encounter moments ago in order to sound excited for the trial. "So, you'll present evidence and theories on 'whodunnit', and then you'll vote on why you think the killer is when the time comes!"

"Hey, I have an idea!" Nash decided it was his turn to take the spotlight with an idea that will most likely not be helpful. "Why don't we go around asking everyone if they're the killer and whoever says yes we vote for them. That way we have to do all this complicated trial stuff."

"I don't think anyone here is that stupid, Nash," Nona interjected, shooting down her brother's idea.

"Where do we start?" Amari questioned, trying to get everyone to start talking.

"How about we look over the Chromesuki File and confirm what we already know about what happened?" Nona suggested.

"Err, umm, th-there w-wasn't m-much evidence f-for th-this m-murder..." Pix stated, nervously looking at the Chromesuki File. "All w-we really h-have is the Chr-Chromesuki F-F-File."

"And alibis." Hana added on, not letting anyone forget that alibis we also evidence we have access to.

"Speaking of alibis," The cyannette pushed her glasses up, causing the light to reflect on her glasses. "Which of one of you losers pushed me down the fucking stairs?"

"You got pushed down the stairs?" The green haired human with glasses was in question of the statement.

"She deserved it," Hana stated not showing the slightest amount of concern for Prisha.

"I-I know Pr-Prisha c-can be r-really m-mean, b-but n-n-no one deserves to f-fall down a fl-flight of st-stairs..." To the surprise of many, Pix had spoken up in the defense of the cyanette.

"If anyone deserved to die today it was Prisha," The stone skipper only restated what she previously stated but with more anger.

"Say that I should be dead one more time and I'll tear out your throat and feed it to a chihuahua," The algendonicisted gave the brunette who was insulting her a terrifying death glare.
