Reki watched Adam as he walked away, and he even looked down himself and smirked, hiding a mischievous laugh. Everyone was confused, especially Adam who had turned around with a questioning look on his face."Reki?" Langa whispered, poking him. However, there was so response as Reki walked over to Adam with no hesitation.
"Adam, you know all the things you did, right?" Reki had asked, still keeping his head down with the same smirk. Adam had just gave a simple nod, confused on what Reki was gonna say or do to him. He couldn't harm him though, right?
"Well, guess who just won against you? Against the cocky ass who thought who was better than anyone, the guy who thought it would be a good idea to smack people in the face with a skateboard? The guy who sent multiple people to the hospital? The guy who made some traumatized for the rest of their lives? The guy who stalked a 17 year old with cameras and wanted to kill to challenge the dude who was hanging out with him?!!" Reki mentioned. Even though they were all run on speeches, he still managed to put his point across. Adam was a bad person, and all this talk was just making the man feel worse. "Hell, I bet even your own ASSISTANT hates you!" Reki had added, walking closer and closer to Adam, making him back up to the point where he had tripped and landed against a wall. He had looked up at Reki as the young man kicked up his skateboard and started to laugh. Something had really turned on him, maybe the accomplishment of winning against such a big name? Especially someone bad like this?
"And you have the audacity to call me a third wheel? Pshhhttt!" Reki added, starting to burst out in an even bigger laughter. "Maybe look at yourself some time, Adam. Next time, leave people alone and don't try and ruin their lives just because you had a bad one. You're an awful man who deserved that loss. Stop being so pitiful."
Langa furrowed his eyebrows, frowning and biting his lip a small bit. Reki was going too far, he could've just said thanks. Adam had recognized his mistakes, and didn't need to feel even worse. This had to be stopped by Langa. He was the only one who could honestly do that. The blue haired started to slowly walk closer to Reki. "Reki...! That's enough, please don't talk him down anymore." But it was no use, either Reki was avoiding him, or he was being too cocky and blocking out everyone else. Langa continued to yell out his name, trying to get his attention, but nothing worked. He started to get an angry expression as he was annoyed with Reki for ignoring him and continuing to talk Adam down even more.
"Reki Kyan!" Langa had yelled, grabbing his shoulders and forcefully turning him around. He didn't get mad often, especially at Reki, but this had really pushed him off his limit.
Something had hit Reki as Langa had did that, and his eyes widened as he sighed and looked back at Adam again. He was about to apologize, but Langa didn't realize and thought he was going to say more to him.
"Reki, you asshole! Stop..! Leave Adam alone, he's already been through a lot! You might've not have seen it, but he was on the ground realizing everything he's done wrong. He's already realized it, he doesn't need more down talking. You should've just said thanks and left it at that. Adam is a grown man who can realize his own things he does wrong. So please, don't be an asshole to him anymore. I'm sure he realizes that he needs to do something and give up his position or s-" Langa had said rather loudly, still mad at Reki. Of course, he would eventually forgive him since everyone makes mistakes, but right now just wasn't the time. However, Langa was cut off by Adam.
"You're right, I should give up my position. I got beat after challenging someone. Reki, since you beat me, you're the leader of this place. I will still technically own it, but you make all the decisions and tell Tadashi, and I'll make them happen. I'm... done with skating." Adam responded. After all, all that skating had bring to Adam was sadness. It had always been fun at first, but not now. What happened?
On the other hand, Reki was shocked at Langa for getting so mad... and calling him an asshole. Reki had just... beat Adam for him... to help him... to win for him.... and he treats him like this? It made him feel a small bit disappointed, but he kind of deserved it and realized it. After all, he should've been nicer to Adam, and he should've left it at thanks. But, he was also surprised because Adam had practically gave him the place to himself. Tsk, it was time to run this place his own way. Whether it be good or bad, he was going to run it his own way. We'd just have to find out how that would be in the future. But for now, he couldn't keep Langa mad. That was only if... Langa would accept his apology, that is.
"Langa, I'm sorry. Adam too, I should've stopped and not said anything in general. Please forgive me and don't believe anything I said.. I don't want to make you feel worse." Reki apologized to Adam, sighing and looking at Langa. "Do you forgive me..?"
Adam had surely forgiven him, seeing as he agreed with everything he said, but Langa had to do some thinking. It was mainly just teasing sort of thinking just to make Reki feel bad for his actions. The scenario was kind of like a parent thinking about not doing something because of a kids actions. "Fine, I forgive you... We all make mistakes, and this was just one of yours." Langa commented, putting his hand on on Reki's cheek and caressing it, trying to comfort him. Reki smiled softly with a glowing look in his eyes and some blush appearing on his cheeks. He also leaned his face into his hand. "You did good in the race though. Let's go and do something after." He had mentioned again.
"What about.. getting something to eat?" Reki asked, putting his hand up to his chin. Though, Langa shook his head. "No good, let's go to the park and stay together. Actually, in fact, let's get something to eat and then bring it to the park." By the park, Langa had meant the skate park. It's where they always hung out, even when they didn't skate. They didn't plan on skating that night either since Reki had a good race and he didn't want him to tire out even more. Reki agreed, and they decided to just go ahead and leave before any other drama was caused. It didn't appear anyone was mad, but just in case. They said goodbye to the others, and soon left.
