the new rules of s - chapter eight

The deal was forged, leaving Reki a little nervous to continue on doing this s thing. He loved s with all his heart, (despite the bad people) and wanted to change it for the better. Would people leave it though? Tadashi might not be able to get them back, and Reki for sure didn't trust him since he was working with Adam.

Reki exhaled, looking into Tadashi's emotionless eyes. "So, what now?" He asked.

"Whatever you want, Mr. Kyan." Tadashi responded along with Reki cringing at the name.

"God...!" He whined, rolling his eyes. Reki slumped over, not looking entertained. "Don't call me that! I'm not some kind of old man. Just call me Reki!" The red haired responded, putting his thumb up and smiling. "Nothing different either."

"Yes, of course, Reki." Tadashi responded back, however Reki still looked at him the same way. "Why are you looking at me like that?" He questioned, raising his eyebrows slightly.

"What do you think? You're acting proper for no reason. You need to have some.... spunk in you! Like, don't be so uptight about everything. You act like I'm going to hit you or something!" Reki laughed, with Tadashi being surprised.

"Spunk? What do you... mean?"

"Tffft... it just means being not so uptight."

"I'll try, thank you, Reki."

"Of course. I know you work for Adam, and you can be uptight for him, but please don't for me."

"I... I won't. I'll try my best!" Tadashi told him with a little bit of energy now filling his heart. It showed in his voice, and it seemed his eyes started to light up in the slightest bit.

"Oh and... anything that I say goes along, but also anything Langa says goes along as well. Langa is... my...." Reki added, stopping at the end and shaking his head. "Never mind.."

"What?"

"Nothing, it doesn't matter!" His cheeks flushed.

"It does matter! I need to know what he is to you so I can-"

"He's my crush..! Okay! I think it's already obvious to Adam since he wanted to get rid of me. Did you not know?" Reki finally admitted, his cheeks getting brighter by the second.

"It... no, it wasn't obvious. Your cheeks are red, by the way." Tadashi found it weird to be working for two people who loved Langa. What was so special about him is what Tadashi wanted to know.

"I don't care! Don't pay attention to those.. they do that sometimes." How stupid he was to just say that, it honestly would be embarrassing to hear. (I got second hand embarrassment from writing that.. :')

"Anyways, I gotta get going for Adam soon. Please tell me what you want for S, and then we will continue some other day. I'll establish the rules soon." Tadashi said, looking at Reki. It seemed now that he was definitely starting to change. Reki was definitely something else, getting two people to be happier.

"Okay, well... I want there to be... maybe not as much violence if that makes sense? Like for example, no hitting people with stupid skateboards! You can do small things like shadows tricks, but nothing super big. If the people watching and examining the race find that the action the skater performs is too much, the other will automatically win." Reki said, crossing his arms. "Hmm... also, more than one person can rule s."

Tadashi nodded. "Is that all?"

"I think so. I love s, but the problem is the violence. It gets too far at times... especially what happened to Cherry." He said with a sigh. "Oh wait, personal things in s can't be taken outside of s. Like, what happened with shadow and stuff. That was not very cool..."
