(Y/N) woke up earlier than usual, so she decided to walk around campus. Walking around always eased her jitters and nervousness.

The exterior of the school is tan with a slate blue cobblestone roof. The building is three stories tall.

The front of the building has eight large arched windows, each slightly inset with a striped design above them. The steps leading up to the entrance door widen as they approach the sidewalk and vice versa towards the entrance.

The double entrance doors are dark oak, with gray handles. Above the doors is a white banner with red outline hanging down. Above the banner are four rectangular windows, a large circular window, and a smaller circular window on each side.

The central portion of the school is an open-air courtyard.

The entrance to the courtyard has a diagonal black and white checkerboard pattern, with a slate cream under this design. On either side of the entrance doors are a wooden bench and two chalkboards.

Along one side wall of this area is a door leading to a utility room. The nurse's office, which a placard indicates is handicap-accessible, is located along the opposite side wall.

The courtyard is made up of slate-gray concrete, with white lines painted on to make a basketball court. On either side of the courtyard is a basketball hoop hanging by white rope.

There is also a set of green metal stairs on either side of the courtyard, leading up to the second-floor rooms. Next to the stairs are green support pillars, supporting the platforms above.

Around the perimeter of the courtyard are various rooms, including locker rooms with adjoining bathrooms, and several classrooms, among them a science classroom.

'I'm gonna miss it here.' She then thought, heaving out a sigh as she trails her finger gracefully at one of the support pillars.

"(Y/N), I'm glad I found you."

(Y/N)'s head shot up, to see Luka standing in the stairway. Their eyes meeting, teal orbs looking intently at (E/C) ones. (Y/N) immediately averted her gaze, blush soaring her cheeks.

"H-hey Luka." She merely replied.

"It's almost time for the competition to start. Do you maybe want to go there together?" Luka then offered.

(Y/N) was a bit hesitant a first. She was confused, her heart was confused. She yearns for the thought of Viperion, but her heart still flutters and dances whenever Luka is around.

She couldn't clearly concentrate on her piece, on her melody, her vocals. Because of those two guys lingering inside her head. If this keeps up, she'll be a burden to both Kitty Section and (Bands Name).

And she doesn't want that to happen.

Her thoughts were cut short as she realizes Luka got close, way to close. The blush on her cheeks reddening even more as she looks away from Luka.

'D-does this dude know what personal space is?' She then grumbled. Making sure that this time, she isn't heard.

"(Y/N)?" Luka then called out. She once again, snaps out of her reverie and gave him a small nod.

"I'm-im okay. You can go first, I'll be there on time. I promise." She then says. Luka was a bit hesitant at first, but then decided to just let her go. He gives her a small smile, then walked away.

His heart tugging him, pleading him to go back to her and ask what was on her mind.

(Y/N) watches as Lukas silhouette disappear from the distance, a sigh escaping her lips as she leans in on the rails of the building.

Sure her teenage heart was yearning for answers, looking for some sign. (Y/N) doesn't know what to do. She then shook her head, scolding herself in the process.

'(Y/N) stop thinking about boys already! Geez! You have other more, important things to worry about.'

She then looks up on the blue sky above her, a small sigh escaping her lips once more. Other than the confusion of love and boys, she also has one person she's been thinking about ever since she entered this competition.

'I just hope that she doesn't judge in the finals.'

(Y/N)'s head shot up as she hears Claras announcement from the speakers, telling that they only have 20 minutes left to practice. She spared no time to waste and started to jog to the courtyard.

"(Y/N)! Where do you keep running off to?" Luciana said, scolding her childhood friend. (Y/N) could only rub the nape of her neck and awkwardly smile at Luciana, as she accepts all the scolding she gives her.

"I'm sorry I'm sorry." (Y/N) then said, her voice a bit lighter than earlier. She scans her surroundings, a sigh of relief escaping her lips as she sees no familiar figure around.

"Hey Luc. Do you think that.. my.. Miss (L/N) will come and judge the duets and the finalists this year?" Luciana's body stiffened as she hears the name.

Miss (M/N) (L/N).

She didn't want to scare (Y/N), she doesn't want her to worry about such things at a time like this. As much as Luciana hated lying to her friend, she could only let out a shrug.

"I'm not sure." She then said. Which was a total lie.

She could see (Y/N)'s tensed form ease, and a smile went up her lips. (Y/N) gave Luciana a small pat on the back.

"That's fine." She merely replied.

Their small conversation was cut short as they saw Luka walking up to them, his hand on his guitar and a wide smile plastered on his face. Luciana crossed her arms and gave Luka a look of confusion.

"What's up with you?" She then said. Luka gave her a shrug and rubbed the nape of his neck.

"I'm sorry. It's just that.." He then trails off. His gaze turning to (Y/N).

"I'm very excited to duet with (Y/N)." He then admits.

A small smile went up (Y/N)'s lips, blush soaring her cheeks. Before she got a chance to reply, Clara started to announce something.

" Alright everybody! The competition is about to start in five minutes. Please, kindly group up and write your names on the board."
