Have you seen the heartbroken girl with her head slumped against the glass of Starbucks? Her eyes showed no life behind them, her cheeks stained with tears mixed with her make-up, her face blank of any expression and her lips parched. She still had on her clothes from earlier but somehow they looked dull just like her. That girl I described was me.
I've been here for like 20 minutes and asked various times what I wanted to order or if I was alright. In all my responses, I hadn't utter a word, just a weak small smile and a nod. I felt used and lifeless. My hair was still neat like earlier but a few strands were out of place. I lost the feeling of speech, my mouth remained shut as if duct tape had it covered.
Why me? why it had to be me?
I suffered my whole life indirectly and directly, I came here to get a break and now look at the bullshit I've gotten in now. Yes, it had been the same day but I still don't know what to feel or how. Its been 10 minutes since I've been fixed aimlessly outside the glass when at the corner of my eye I paid attention to a freshly made cup of Cappucino placed next to my inactive hands.
What the hell, I never ordered anything? My stare shot up to meet a brown eyed blonde hair boy watching me with even emotions. Wow...
I didn't know if I was paranoid or what, but something told me that something about this dude was off despite his warm smile and attractive features. I averted my alert system (senses) and comtemplated about this cute guy in front of me.
"I'm sorry but I didn't order anything," I greeted him with the most polite smile I could have managed. But hopelessly failed, instead it came out as weak, pathetic smile.
"You seemed gloomy so I figured some Americano Cappuchino would help," he charmed with his hundred watt smile.
"Is it that obvious?" I nervously chuckled. Honestly how long have I been here?
"A girl staring aimlessly at the emptiness of the back of Starbucks, that doesn't seem depressed to you, right?" he joked lightly.
"Sure, seems happy to me," I replied sarcastically, whilst rolling my eyes.
He laughed and it was heavenly. Curiously, I eyed the cup in front of me and raised it slightly to my lips and sipped it.
"Mmm, delicious, Starbucks are well known for the coffee," I flcikered my eyes to his as he watches me with an unreadable expression.
"Well, the best for the best, right Ari?" he laughed.
"How did you know my name?" he caugh my attention with that. How the hell he knows me and I don't know him? Thats a little odd or strange. I raised my eyebrows in suspicion.
The laughter died and tension arose as we had a glaring competition when suddenly a heavily scented handkerchief was quickly placed on my nose.
It forced me to take a large inhale and with that fell complete darkness.

No, my baby couldn't be in danger. I was suppose to protect her from all that but I've completely failed. Why did guys like me become big dicks? I groaned and rubbed my hair in frustration as Leah and Ace made calls to some people. Since that news, I've been extremely jumpy and agitated. All tthat processed to my brain was Ari.
My sassy, sexy Ari who've been replaced by a heartbroken, lost teenage girl whose walls were broken down only to be built up higher than before because of me. The cold heartless arrogant jerk who couldn't keep his mouth shut. My carefree Caribbean beauty had fallen between the cracks and was gone forever. A blind man could see the deceased joy one behind her beautiful hazel eyes which were now void of all emotions.
"Mom, yes its me, can I come to your job now?" Leah asked hurriedly over the phone.
"Yes hun, whats wrong? you sound rushed," her mother panicked on the other side of the line.
"Its an emergency," she said, fondling with her BMW car keys whilst walking to her car.
"Ok, I'll let security know your on you way." With that her mother hung up abruptly.
"Ace, Jace you're coming with me," she demanded, opening the sun roof of her BMW i8 black. Her car was sexy and although we were still at school more like the back, somehow her car came here.
"Sweet ride," I whistled checking out the sweet rims and different parts of the car. I need wheels like this.
Showing off her proudness, she smirked and winked at Ace who also was checking out the ride.
"Daddy bought it for me last month, I rarely got to use it," she shrugged and entered the driver's seat.
"Now boys, only one of you can fit," she implied.
"I'll drive my own, take Jace with you," Ace finally spoke up whilst strolling to his girlfriend's side and kissing her passionately on her lips before parting their ways. If wasn't for me, Ari and I would be like that now.
Shifting my gaze away from the adorable couple, I slid in the passenger's seat and closed the butterfly door of the beast.
"Where are we going, Leah?"
"We're gonna meet your father." she stated before speeding off.
"I have no father, Leah," I said in disbelief. I never had a father, always mother alone.
"Yes you do."
"Really?" he chuckled falsely as the wind beat upon my face repeatedly, messing up her hair along the way.
"Who?" I continued shaking my head. Would this girl ever listen?
"The President of The United States of America."
