Heyyy everyone, now most people keep asking why I let both Ari & Leah die but I have my reasons. If you read the epilogue carefully, you'd see that there's more to the story than just the funeral.
As a request of my dear friends, I shall give you a sneak peek into what happened with her mysterious aunt Rose Thorne and why she was so cold 'hearted' and shit like that.
Also I'd like to clear up something:-
1. 'My Renaissance' will contain grievous violence, a shitload of killing, devious ways of revenge and rebellion. If you know you are not permitted to this or can't handle it, please don't read if you don't want to.
2. I DO NOT WANT ANY MAKING ANY SHITTY COMMENTS OF ERRORS LIKE PREVIOUS 'CERTAIN' PEOPLE, it is not edited yet. SO DON'T RUSH TO FRIGGING CONCLUSIONS!
3. Lastly, please don't forget to vote and share this book with friends and followers.
P.S I don't know how to put on completed so although it says ongoing, it is actually completed.
Until then...
Yours Truly,
Abby/Abbi
Now here's the excerpt:-
~Rose's P.O.V~
"Where is she?!" I exclaimed as I quickly strolled down the hospital halls to the mourning family that somewhat related to me. I tried my best to look as persuasive as a distraught woman since I hadn't felt any sort of emotions like this in like centuries which are decades.
The zombie looking relatives tiredly turned their heads to see who had barged in. The first one to recognize me was my beloved cousin Christine.
My, my, she had grown into this beautiful successful woman.
I kept tags on everyone since I couldn't bare loosing anymore family. Being the most powerful and richest person on earth, I have my resources anywhere. I may be almost in my mid-forties but I kept myself in good shape. Heck, I was still looking young enough to be on Playboy Magazines.
"Aunt Rose?!" my dazzling hazel eyed Christine asked dully before struggling to stand up from her seat.
As I made my over, I noticed the azure-eyed boy studying who I was. He was very strikingly handsome and could easily be passed for one of those boys I modeled with. His attractive eyes were dispirited although he was scrutinized me with familiarity.
If I wasn't who I was now, I would've have shivered but I've seen more gruesome sights than that. Many bodies bleeding out from under me, the thought tried forcing a small smile but I resisted against it since I was here for another reason.
After pulling away from the brief hug, I demanded," Christine, where is she?"
"They're doing operations on her right now," she replied in monotone before slumping back into her trance.
Honestly, my heart faltered a bit in seeing them like this. For I knew too well, how the lost of loved ones affected a person's life. I saw my whole family slaughtered in front of me, with seeing my father's head at my side under their massive dining table, his body somewhere distant from this. His violet eyes which held nothing in them were staring back at me intently. I would never forget how that happened.
Ornella, also, was not indifferent than anyone else here. She was so innocent for a twelve year-old, she held her maroon teddy bear I had bought for her anonymously.
Immediately, I rushed to the ICU unit where they were now beginning operations on Ari's brain. Profusely, I banged my knuckles on the door until the dashing Dr.Travis came out with all his garments on ready for surgery.
"Ms.Thorne, I wasn't expecting you here...I'm sorry but I'm currently--" he began rambling off until I cut him. I always got that for my reputation.
In my best icy voice that always oozed fear and authority into those who didn't know better, I stated, " That's why I'm here, Doctor, I need you to help me with something."
"Anything, Ms.Thorne," he nodded affirming his loyalty. It worked every time.
Finally, let my plans commence.
