Day 2

Bounded by the chains of torture, laiden with stains of the dreaded lashes of the punisher, blood at the corners of my lips, my throat parched even to speak, my half-naked body left to shiver in the cold freezing dungeon surrounded by utter darkness, my hair looked like rats partied whole night in it, I knelt in drained emotions. Heavy pure steel latched tightly arond my wrists, which were now beginning to feel the soreness of the irritable metal rubbing against my sensitive skin. My once lively eyes were now replaced by dark countless circles as I waited for the next set of blows to arrive.

My guess would have been that it was morning since a little beam of light began shining through the cracks of space at the top of the wall. A gleam of hope, ha, I wish. Every moment I spent here, the gloomy walls crept around me endlessly, being their new prey. Honestly, I was beyond the brink of tears since my water bank became empty overnight. All I felt was fear, eagerness, anxiety stirred up as one. I felt like....

Suddenly, the iron door creaked open with that weird creepy sound from horror movies. Without hesitation, my head shot up and my sight fixed on the door as more light forced its way into the chamber of hell. The impetuous feeling of Satan had just arrived in sheep's clothing as the tall mysterious perpetraitor entered the chamber.

"Hello Abby, finally you with me." His incomprehensible tone of calmness sent nervous chills down my spine.

"Do..do I know you?" I stuttered. What the fuck? I never stuttered for any stranger only Jace.

"You don't know me? I find that hard to believe," he impersonated innocence with sarcasm as he pronounced my name on the tongue but no matter what, he never came out of the shadows.

On spur of the moment, I stood up abruptly as the chains rattled. My knees were a little wobbly at first, but seconds later I gained my balance only to be taken away. His broad hands roughly pressed on my weakened shoulders as he pushed me back on my knees.

"Don't fuck with me!" I snapped with a rapid burst of outrage. No way am I letting some obessive creep take control of me.

"You've grown a lot, Abby," he stated sickly as I can feel his presence behind me stalking my every movement of my head. His burning gaze scorched my body even though I can't see his face.

"Who the fuck are you!?" I yelled in frustration.

Languidly, he strolled out the darkness and into the dim light before my eyes. His green eyes bore though mines with fiery familiarity. His long charcoal locks touched his masculine hard face. His face has...has changed tremendously, last time I saw him, his face was still young with adolescence, acne all around his face caused of puberty. Now, his face was smooth as silk and his teeth pallid as they luminated the specks of darkness around us. This was not the dude I knew long ago.

He was dead, but now what is he doing in front of me?

He had committed suicide, right? By now my jaw had dropped, one hundred percent positive, by the expression displayed on his psychotic eyes.

A mere whisper could have only escaped my lips as he triumpantly smirked in my petrified facial expression.

"Dylan." My breath was hitched in my throat as Dylan stood there with victory in his eyes. He looked like he accomplished something for a moment but then they darkened replacing his momentarily joy with pure bitterness and hatred as if I did him something.

His laughter laced with disparagement when I mentioned his name.

"You sounded like you wasn't expecting it to be me?" he inquired carefully with a bit of hurt and anger.

"I...I thought you died," my voice tangled with the dying wind since I couldn't get over my shock.

Again, his ridiculous laughter erupted the bit of silence that had remained between us for a second. It was starting to annoy me.

"I had to make you believe that, to see if you really loved me," his laughter ceased, thank God, and his voice had the tiniest bit of hope in it. I almost felt sorry. Almost.

"Why you thought I didn't love you then?" I raised my eyebrows weakly but a mysterious emotion found its way into my utterance.

He took his time as he watched me uneasily, as if he was afraid to admit something and dragged his hand through his long locks. Then gently, held my chin up slightly to see his face clearly, his breath tangling with mines as his face slowly made its way closer to mines. All I could do was stare at him with soft eyes. When he decided that this was close enough, his jaded eyes flickered at my lips for a second then back at my eyes with so much intensity, I would have shit myself.

"Honestly, I don't know." he finally answered truthfully, and I was grateful that he didn't go completely mad, yet.

At the same time, he rose up from his previous position and found his way behind me where I couldn't see him anymore.

At that moment, I was addled. What went through his mind?

Then I felt the demons that were latched to the wall and also that was pulling me back, released from my wrists and instantly I fell face- flat on the old hard floor. Not too long after, his strong sturdy arms wrapped around my wide waist, yanking me back into his rock chest, picking me up. Suddenly, another pair of steel cuffs were reinstated on my left wrist and the other cuff on his right.

"In the morning, you belong to me and you do as I say," his voice authoritative at the moment. Still baffled by his sudden change of emotions, I nodded slowly.

Then he led me out of the horrid dungeon, in my half naked state.

What was that?
