Apollo and artemis: take on the city

Chapter 2

Artemis and apollo rush to artemis's room to find some information on the two stranger who saved them, they went inside and artemis instantly open her laptop in her desk. They started searching about a company called travel pegasus, soon after 5 seconds they finally found it.

" let's see, travel pegasus. Located at wall street, broadway. One of the most famous travel company since 1993 " artemis said reading google

" okay... so... what about the underwood families, what about them? " apollo ask

" wait... just type this and... Aha! Found it, the underwood families. Mister and misses toby and laura underwood, they live in the streets of jones street, manhattan. Apartment... there... all settle... now we know where they live " artemis said

" okay, then i guess we better start packing " apollo said and artemis nodded

Just then someone knock on the door " Artie! Apollo! Can i come in? " the voice said and the siblings knew who it was " Sure hermes, come on in " they both said. Hermes comes in with a tray of fresh bake cookies for the twins " hey guys, dad says you're leaving so he ask me to give you cookies as a parting gift " hermes said as he put the tray in artemis's bed.

Artemis and apollo was surprised to hear they're father giving them cookies as a good luck wish for their departure, but artemis was suspicious.

" i hope dad isn't thinking he can make it up to me by giving me cookies " artemis said

" oh no, he wouldn't. He just wanted to say good luck trough cookies but if you don't want it i guess i could- " hermes said picking a cookie

" No! I want some! " apollo yelled

" Well, bon apetite brother " hermes gesture and apollo join him in artemis's bed

Artemis just shake's her head and started preparing for their stay in the mortals world " brother, when you're done eating those cookies. Help me pack, these clothes aren't going to pack themselves " artemis said which confused apollo and hermes " dude, you're a goddess. Can't you used your powers to do it faster? " hermes ask and artemis shakes's her head " No, dad said we're not allowed to used our powers so... we have to do it the old fashion way " artemis said and apollo nodded " sure sis, whatever you say " as he used his power to give the cookies some sprinkles and artemis face palm " well, its a start "

Meanwhile in the travel pegasus company, mr toby is giving his presentation to the head bussiness expert to promote his idea on how the company can improved. If he succeed in impressing them then... he will get a promotion. After 15 hours, the presentation have finally ended. Everyone went out and mr toby was the only one left in the meeting room, soon he was joined by mr robert who congratulate him on his presentation.

" well done mr toby, i'm sure the head executives will give you that promotion in no time " mr robert said

" thanks, but... it's not going to be easy. I just hope they like my idea " mr toby said

" i'm sure they'll love it, i mean... the idea to used the theme families was genius " mr robert said

" Yeah, but i only got that idea because of my families. I want everyone to enjoy wonderfull times with their families, because our companies motto is to give wonderfull experience to our costumer " mr toby said

" well said mr toby, now i'm pretty sure- " mr robert said

Just then, one of the employee's called out to mr toby " sir, mr kendrick would like to see you " mr toby was surprised " mr kendrick? as in one of the head executives? " the employee nodded and mr toby instantly worried, but mr robert wasn't he was sure he'll be fine " don't worry, you'll be fine. Go get em tiger " mr robert pat mr toby's back and he nodded " thanks, i needed that " with that mr toby went outside to meet mr kendrick.

He open the door slowly and saw mr kendrick waiting for him outside looking at him sternly, mr toby gulp and wonder if he did something to offend him, maybe he shouldn't add the joke where he told everyone they might as well be selling kids toys if they're companies failed. But mr toby put on a brave face and look directly at mr kendrick's face.

" mr toby, i have something i need to tell you " mr kendrick says

" Yes sir " mr toby said

" about your presentation, me and the others have come to a conclusion that- " mr kendrick said

" sir i am so sorry if i offended you, i din't mean to make that awful joke. I was suppose to be more serious and- " mr toby freak out

" woah sir, you've done nothing wrong. And there is nothing wrong with a little joke, i kinda like it " mr kendrick said

" really? "mr toby ask

" anyway, me and the others... have decided... to take your advice! Congratulations mr toby, you officially got that promotions " mr kendrick said

" What?! Really?! " mr toby ask in excitement and mr kendrick nodded

Mr toby couldn't believe it, his lifetime- i mean. His families life time dreams are coming true, now he and everyone can go on crazy adventures whenever they want. However...

" by the way mr toby, you have to go with me to greece if you want that promotion. Our company there would like to help improve your plans on your project " mr kendrick said

" what? Oh, uh... can my families come? " mr toby ask

" ms laura must come but... unfortunately your children can't come " mr kendrick said

" What?!  Why? " mr toby ask

" because this is for business not vacation and we don't want your children to be involved in grown ups matter " mr kendrick said

" but, they'll be all alone. Who's going to watch over them while we're away? " mr toby ask

" you can get a babysitter, but you only have until midnight to tell me your answer if you want to come or not. Mr toby, if you don't come you won't be getting this promotion. That's why i hope you think about it, see you again mr toby. I have to go to another meeting " mr kendrick says then he leaves leaving mr toby in a panic state

Mr toby is in a huge pickle, he needs to find someone who will take care of his children while he and ms laura went to greece.
