Wanderlust
[won-der-lust]

(n.) "A strong desire to travel and explore the world."

*Click* in a swift motion, you had unlocked your dorm room while holding a couple of boxes in your left hand, opening the door with your right.

You walked into your dorm room for the first time only to be extremely underwhelmed. The place was underwhelming. It was small, had no washroom, and it was hardly big enough for two people. It was 160 square feet, which is extremely small. It had a bed, a "closet" which was really just a smaller version of a wardrobe you would buy at Ikea. There was also a "desk" which looked like the desk that you would use in primary school.

"You've got to be joking right? I did not just drop my apartment which is six times the size of this for a fucking cubical." You thought this was some sort of joke. You were paying $1600 a month for a cubicle with one damn window. You let out a muffled scream. "No wonder they don't let you view this place before you buy it."

You dropped the boxes onto the floor next to the door and opened the window to get some fresh air into your dorm. A cold breeze brushed your h/l against your face, sending shivers down your spine. You shivered at a sudden gust of wind, dragging you out of your one minute of peace. "Better get back to unloading the car.." you dreaded this part, unloading was an extra pain in the ass that you didn't need at the moment.

It was now around 8 pm and you finally moved all the boxes from your apartment into your elongated cubicle, well almost. You were making the last drip from your apartment to your dorm and it was getting pretty late. The sun usually would be down by now since it was September.

The drive to your apartment from the university wasn't very long, only about fifteen minutes away. You lived or used to live on the sixth floor of your apartment complex, which was somewhere in the middle from a high-to ground level ratio.  You got out of your car and walked into your apartment for the last time. You had already dropped your key off at the landlord's designated spot, and the apartment was kept open until you contacted them that you were finished unloading.

You opened the door to your apartment to grab the last few boxes that were left for you to take, but something was off. You felt another presence in the room with you, or rather two.
