You stand on the edge of the maze wall looking down. Repeating the words of your memory. They only like you because you have something they don't especially him. He's using you.Tears steam down your face. You climbed to the top using the vines. "Love?" You hear Newts voice behind you. You don't move, not even to look at him. "What are you doing up here?" He asks. Trying to take your hand you pull it away. "Hey talk to me. Please." You can hear the panic in his voice. It pains you hear it but the thought of him using you hurts you more. "Are you using me?" You ask, not turning around.

Newt's POV:
"Are you using me?" Her words take me by surprise. Why would she think I was using her? I had woken up in the look out and saw her standing on the wall. It brought back a horrible memory. "I'm not using you. Just step away from the edge please." I say reaching out my hand standing as far from the edge as possible. She steps closer to it. My heart is pounding in my chest. "Please. Just step away from the edge." She wasn't giving in. She just stood there in silence. It was unbearable. "Fine if you jump. I jump too." I take a deep breath and go to the edge beside her and look down. It was a lot further down than I remembered my stomach drops. Luckily my comment got her to look at me. "Who know maybe this time it will actually kill me. It was actually this exact spot where I jumped. I fell for what seemed like an hour then all I could feel was pain in my leg. Now it's pretty messed up so I think you should climb down this bloody wall with me before you make the same mistake I did." I reach out my hand one more time and she takes it. Her hand is cold.

"It's been thirty minutes and she still hasn't told me what happened. I'm really worried." I tell FryPan. Looking back in the hut to see her sitting on my hammock. "I think right now the best thing you can do for her is just go and sit with her and be there for her." I nod and run back to the hut.

"Listen I know you don't want to. But you need to tell me what happened. What you just did back there. That was scary. You scared me half to death." I say taking her hand. She doesn't pull it away. She doesn't do anything she just sits there staring into the abyss. I let out a sigh and look at her. Her E/C eyes are glassy. Her mind a thousand miles away.
