Chapter Two:

The ride was awkward. No. It was far from awkward. Alora sat silently whilst Milo drove silently.

"My car smells like chilli, great," he scoffed under his breath, turning roads.

"Didn't have to be a clutz," Alora scoffed harder, mocking his tone.

Milo gritted his teeth as he continued driving. "Shut up!" He snapped under his breath.

"I don't have one of those kinks, try again next time," Alora sang, keeping her eyes on the road incase this total stranger decides to kidnap her.

Alora fiddled with the radio until Milo slapped her hand softly. "Don't touch my radio," he snapped.

"I'm bored," Alora huffed, extending  her hand out again. Milo once again slapped her hand and glared at her, "I said...don't. touch. my. radio. Ask me."

Alora rolled her eyes and fiddled with the dashboard instead. "Can you stop touching everything? Fuck," Milo raised his voice.

He was beginning to get aggravated with the girl. "Do you have any siblings?" Alora asked, shifting her body to face Milo.

"No."

"I do, a younger brother. He's like my best friend," Alora chuckled. "You got a girlfriend?"

"No."

"Same. Do you have any pets?"

"No."

"Same. Have you been to the Bahamas?"

"No."

"Not same, the Bahamas is lovely. Do you live with your mother?"

"No."

"I do, and my dad, and my brother. When was-"

Milo aggressively slammed his foot on the break and placed his car in parking mode. "Ow- I could've gotten whiplash," Alora complained, rubbing her neck.

"Out!" Milo snapped, rubbing his head.

Alora stared at him, "Excuse me?" Milo shifted his body and unbuckled his seatbelt, he extended his body over to Alora's side and opened the door, "I said, out!"

"Your house is down the road, get out!" He snapped, glaring at her hard. Alora blinked a couple times, unbuckling her seatbelt slowly. "Look, I'm sorry if I was invading your-"

"JUST GET OUT!" He roared, making Alora flinch and quickly get out of the car, closing the door shut before walking down her road.

Milo turned his car back on and made an aggressive U-Turn. Alora's heart was still racing, "This is why you don't get chilli thrown on you from a fucking stranger."

"Alora! Avery and Allegra are here!" Marco called from downstairs.

Alora finished putting her lipstick on and looked at herself in the mirror. "You're going to do fine. You're pretty, smart and an extraordinary young woman!"She exclaimed.
