Chapter Ten

George woke up on the Monday morning feeling exhausted his eyes were heavy and whole body was jus numb and empty feeling, he hadn't slept much after what Wilbur had said the day before, George sluggishly got out of bed and got into the shower, he watched the water run down his arms and smiled slightly remembering when he was a kid he used to put his arms out and pretended he had super powers, he had been imagining what i was like he didn't even realize he was standing there with his arms out in front of him as the water trailed down his arms and to his fingertips.

When George got out of the shower, Niki was in his bedroom "hey, your mum let me in, Wilbur told me about yesterday, i honestly don't know how to feel about what he said but i'm here to make sure your okay and i also picked out something for you to wear because i know you probably didn't sleep and you were more than likely planning to wear a hoodie and jeans, which isn't going to happen because the more confident you feel the better you'll feel" Niki said smiling up and George, he smiled and wrapped his arms around her and hugged her tightly George "thank you" he sniffled releasing her from him hug, "of course honey anytime, i'll be waiting downstairs and we can go wake up Alex together" she said leaving his room, giving him space and time to get dressed, "oh and when you come downstairs i've got a present for you" she shouted from the top of the stairs.

George put on the outfit Niki had picked out for him, a long sleeve white shirt with a black band merch t-shirt with his favorite pair of black ripped jeans, she really knew how to pick out stuff for George to wear, George on his padlock necklace and put some chains on his belt and decided he was going to put in his lip ring for that extra confidence boost, he walked down the stairs feeling a lot better than he did this morning, "hey, thank you i love the outfit" George said smiling at Niki, "it's not a problem, here" Niki said passing George a bag, George looked inside "it's some of my old skirts i don't wear anymore and would probably fit you, there all clean i thought you might like them most of them i've worn like once or twice" Niki said smiling at George, "awww thank you these are so cute i love them" George said smiling at her "look at the bottom of the bag" Niki said eagerly, George reached him hand down to the bottom of the bag and pulled out a bracelet. It was a beautiful bracelet "i made it and i put blue and white in, your favorite colors and it has your initial on it and also half of a magnet heart, i have one too so that we can be matching, they are friendship bracelets, coz i love you and your my best friend" Niki said so sweetly in her soft voice with the most adorable smile at the end of her sentence George went over to her and hugged her so tightly he was surprised she could still breathe, she helped George put on the bracelet "thank you i love it so much, this really means a lot, i love you Nik" George said trying not to cry .

They both got into Niki's car and drove to Alex's house, shockingly enough Alex was already heading to his car when they pulled up, "ha beat you bitches" he said laughing at them, they all drove to school, George realized he hadn't checked his phone this morning, 4 messages from Clay <3 George tapped on the message

George, i'm sorry, i'm so sorry.

Please talk to me , i need to see you
10:00 pm

I need to see you George

please George i'm so so fucking sorry, i never wanted to hurt you, please can we just talk

George didn't reply to Clays messages, he didn't want to, that's a lie, George really did want to talk to Clay but he didn't let himself. The first three periods went by fast, but by the time fourth period came around, George was shaking with nerves his fourth period class was computer science with Clay, he could feel the blondes eyes on him all through the lesson, as soon as the bell rang George got up and started to walk towards the exit, he felt someone pull him back and he knew what was going to happen, he turned around "what Clay was me ignoring your texts not enough" he said, Clay was surprised at what George had just said, it wasn't like him to say that, George even scared himself a little he had never spoken to anyone like that before "i need to talk to you" Clay said still holding on to his arm, George half wanted him to let go but the other half of him wanted him to hold George in his strong arms, "about?" George said taking a step back so he was just out of Clays reach "can you jus come to mine after school" Clay said pleadingly "why?" George said wanting to know more "just please it will be easier to say there" Clay said looking George in his eyes "fine" George said as he could feel a blush crawling up his neck "6?" Clay asked "ok" George said as he turned on his heel and walked toward the canteen where Alex Niki and Wilbur were .

He sat down at their usual table "guys, i'm going to see Clay after school" George informed them, "okay" they all said "that's it?" George asked confused on why they hadn't said more "what do you mean?" Alex asked "nothing i just thought you guys might've had more to say on the subject" George said looking down at the table, after what seemed like 5 minutes but was really 45 the end of lunch bell rang and they all headed off to their next classes, the last period practically flew by, George left the school door and got into Niki's car where she was waiting for him to drop him home, they didn't really say much the ride home, but the radio was playing, Heart fm to be exact a station which reminded George of the UK, "good luck tonight" Niki smiled at George "thanks Nik" George smiled back.

George went into his out grabbed his car keys and got into his car and drove to Clays house and waited outside a few blocks away so that it didn't look sus, Goerge waited and waited until the clock finally hit 18:00. George took a deep breath and got out of his car...
