18 - Dancing with the Devil

TW, this chapter will go into depth about the trauma YN has gone through. The abuse, unhealthy coping mechanisms and near death experiences. If you think this will be too much don't worry and skip this chapter, I'll put a summary of this chapter into the next one without going in depth so you won't miss anything darlings.  I'll tell you all when to play the song.

 3RD Person POV

As class 2A strolled in, it was clear that Bakugo and Dabi were on edge seeing how their class was handling the news that 2B will be joining the exam with them. They were worried for you and how they would treat you knowing that they wouldn't be able to do a thing for you since it was the exam. 

Aizawa was internally panicking even though you had already assured him  you would be okay. You told him how amazing class 2B was and how supportive everyone was. No matter what, you weren't alone now and they had your back so you weren't scared. That made him happy, but in his gut he still had a bad feeling.

Before class 2B would join Vlad King had already talked to us and gave us a pep talk. For such a scary and grumpy looking man, he sure did love all of his students dearly. This class more than the others considering all they had gone through. 

The entire class was prepared as if they were going to war and were not planning on being pushed around.

You were finally mentally prepared. You had thought of everything that could go wrong and what you would say. What you would show them, and how they would feel. You decided that enough was enough and everyone around you was tired of it too.

Yn POV

As we entered ground betta to join class 2B I could already tell this was not going to end well. Kendou and Shinso were already holding my hand tightly while the rest of the class walked in ready to pounce at any negative thing said about me. God I truly love them. 

Their small little actions which they did subconsciously had lead me to love them so much more than they even know was possible.

Class 2A stayed silent as they saw how everyone including Vlad King was not in the mood for their bullshit. 

The teachers had finally explained how the exam would be going to be handled. Why in the world did it have to be us working with each other.

As they called out the groups I was internally dreading the thought of being with 2A again. 

Finally they got to my name and the team I would have would be Tenya Iida and Momo Yaoyorozu. 

I'm not to sure how this will turn out. I believe that Tenya will put our differences aside since he is dead set on being a hero but I'm not to sure about Momo. She had already hated me from day 1 when I called her out for assuming our teacher was bluffing. She's also Shoto's girlfriend so I'm sure that has made her hatred grow for me. All I can do is silently pray this will go well. 

For the exam the 3 of us need to work together to defeat Gang Orca. 

We were going to be the first group to be tested and I decided we should try to talk to strategize.  Tenya seemed to agree but Momo just cursed me off and stormed off. Tenya gave me an apologetic frown and went after her. I guess it's me against Gang Orca then. I already can tell without a plan they'll be knocked out and useless.
