Big Time Bus

🚌PLEASE let this be a normal field trip!🚌

It was the last school day of the year. The children filed in with both glee and a hint of sadness for summer was close at hand but at what cost. As they stepped in they noticed that the Frizz was nowhere to be seen. When they sat down the door opened, revealing a large middle-aged man walking into the room. He walked to the desk not speaking to anyone and locking eyes with the nearest child he was near and quickly focusing his gaze on the next. Making it to his desk he finally spoke up. "I'm Gustavo Rocque and I will be your substitute teacher for the day." The children looked at each other with disappointment that they won't be seeing Ms. Frizzle. Dorthy raises her hand "Do you know where Ms. Frizzle is today Mr. Rocque?" Slamming his fist "NO! I DON'T KNOW WHERE SHE AND I DON'T NEED TO KNOW! For the record, you will all be calling me Gustavo from here on out!" Phoebe murmurs " At my old school teachers didn't yell at students." Chucking a chunk of chalk at Phoebe's head "Well this isn't your old school so work with it!" Looking around with an angered expression "That's it go to the bus we're having a field trip!" Keesha confused "But what is there to learn the years almost over?" Gustavo grabs an eraser and chucks it at Arnold "SHUT UP!!" Arnold grabbing his face "Ow! I didn't say anything." Gustavo throws a second eraser at Arnold for good measure. Carlos looking around "Hey better him not me. Right?" Everyone including Gustavo laughs at this. The kids were surprised to see that Gustavo had a key to the school bus with him. They all loaded up and before leaving Arnold mumbling "Please let this be a normal field trip." Gustavo reveals a small fanny pack filled with chalk to chuck at Arnold throws a fresh stick of it at him. Gustavo looking back at everyone "So you guys like space or something!?" Carlos without hesitation "Just as much as the next guy." Everyone laughed at it, especially Gustavo. "I heard a lot about you Carlos and you didn't disappoint." As Gustavo turned on the bus, Tim chimes in barely lifting his head from his sketch pad "But Gustavo not all of us are here?" Already gassing it and looking over his shoulder. Gustavo runs over something while saying "Well if you snooze you lose!" As he sped off Wendy could be seen laying on the ground in the rearview mirror.
