Wondering around the rest of the house, they found two more bedrooms that looked as though they had never been used. A few rooms contained interesting artifacts, including a beautiful water-fall room. However, they didn't find anymore clues to what had happened to the previous owners. At least not until they walked into the last room.
"So, anywhere else on the list to go?"
"I believe that we haven't looked in that room over there."
While saying this, Brett points over to a door that was partially concealed behind a banner.
"It almost looks like the banner was moved so we'd find the door, doesn't it?"
Looking over, Troy glanced at the door for a second.
"I guess... I don't know, who would have moved it?"
Shrugging, Brett was already walking over to the door and pulling it open.
"I don't know, but despite whatever moved it, I still want to know what's in here."
Hurrying after Brett, Troy speed-walked over and peered inside.
"Wow. This was not what I was expecting."
Poking his head around Troy, Brett was meet with the sight of a small but lavish garden. Every kind of flower imaginable was littered around the small area, with vines hanging off the walls that had been carefully designed to look like a hidden, underground cavern. Looking around, one thing immediately caught both of their eyes. Opposite the door, tucked into a group of dandelions and lily of valley's is a beautiful gravestone. Getting closer, they can make out the details on the stone. The gravestone is in the shape of a heart, with an angel standing behind it, hugging the heart. They read the, surprisingly still clear, words engraved onto the stone.
In loving memory of Dream and Wilbur Soot. 1999 and 1996 - 2021. Though the cared, they fell. Banished and forgotten here they lie, together even in death. May their story one day be told, may the truth one day be heard.
"... well, that's deep..."
"Yeah..."
Both stared at the gravestone for a few seconds before snapping out of their trance. An unrecognizable emotion flashes across Brett's face and he grabs for the diary Troy found earlier.
"Troy! Look! 'Wil' and 'M'? It's them! Wilbur and Dream, this has to be Dream's diary!"
"Nice work! I wonder... do you think whatever Dream did killed them both?"
"It seems like the most likely possibility right now."

Sitting down in the garden, the two boys started discussing theory's about what could have happened. Of course, because they barley had any information most of the theory's were wildly inaccurate. Getting so engrossed into their conversation the boys didn't realize that hours had flown by.
"What if Dream told Wilbur to kill him and he did, then in grief Wilbur killed himself?!"
"One better - what if Wilbur died, came back killed Dream out of revenge or something and - BOOM - they're both dead!"
"Okay, that one is horrible. Look at the gravestone, their clearly lovers."
"True, but what could Dream have possibly asked Wilbur to do then?"
"What I said - it would make more sense."
A cool breeze suddenly blew through the room, raising goosebumps on their arms.
"What was that?"
"I don't know, but I think we should leave."
"Yeah, let's go."
Getting up, they quickly picked up their things and left. On the brink of running, they exited out the door and down the hall. Reaching the foyer, they slowed and paused at the tunnel. Undecided with whether they should leave the house or not, another cold breeze made up their minds. With a slight fear in both their minds, the tunnel suddenly seemed a lot scarier than when they first arrived.

Quickly climbing out of the tunnel they paused to catch their breath.
Still slightly out of breath Troy starts to speak, "We need to find out what happened to them."
"I agree. Let's head back and go to the library, I guess."
Starting the long walk back, snow had began to fall. Lightly coating the top of their heads and shoulders white, they brushed it off and kept walking.
Before they got to the end of the biome, the sun set and they hunkered in for the night.
The next day, the kept going more eager, now, to find out what had happened. The eagerness of them both got them walking faster than when they were on the trip there. Soon, they reached the ocean and were back in a boat - sailing into the horizon.
As Troy rowed, it was his turn after all, Brett continued thinking. First - he though of where they could go to research, the library, then possible ask relatives of previous residence. Historical sites could even give them a few leads. Eventually, though, his mind drifted back to the house, and then came the questions. What had happened there? How did the die? What did Dream do? What did Wilbur regret?
Soon enough, they reached shore. Without really noticing, they had just travelled for the entire day, the sun setting as evidence.
Walking back, Troy didn't talk much, being weary from almost an entire day of rowing. However, Brett was more than chatty enough for the both of them.
"Okay, so first let's go to the library, then let's ask around. Historical sites will be interesting to look around at, too.
Of course, they probably wouldn't give us as much clues - but you never know!"
Finally reaching the hotel, they both almost instantly feel asleep.

Waking up early, and leaving Troy still sleeping, Brett left the room. In the hotel's foyer, he decides to ask for directions from the receptionist.
"Hello, um, can you give me directions to the library?"
"Kinoko Kingdom or the reading library?"
"Is Kinoko Kingdom the library that stores documents about the islands past?"
"That would be correct."
"Then, yes, Kinoko Kingdom."
(WARNING: I DON'T ACTUALLY KNOW WHERE KINOKO KINGDOM IS)
"Go down the prime path, and towards the local nether portal. Once in the nether, turn left and go down the path that way. At the end you'll find another portal which should take you to Kinoko Kingdom."
"Thank you."
Leaving the hotel, Brett follows the receptionists direction and finds himself in front of Kinoko Kingdom Library.

Roaming through the shelves of books, Brett first finds a book labeled: Wilbur Soot: From President to Maniac.
In this book, we will explore the life of Wilbur Soot. From when he starts L'manberg with his brother, Tommyinnit, to his death after blowing up said country. Unfortunately, the specific death of Wilbur has been lost to the past but it is believed he died in the initial booming or just after.
As he speed-reads through the book, already knowing the main part of Wilbur's history, and laughing at the funny aspects of Wilbur's family tree. However, his attention was really captured by the last chapter called, A ghost myth.
There is a common myth among descendants of the original Greater DreamSMP residents that after Wilbur died he came back as a ghost. Though this myth has been de-bunked several times, some are still adamant that this did ended happen. The main evidence they use to prove this is several unexplained buildings that closely resemble Wilbur's building style including lanterns and a well. Of course, these buildings could have also been constructed by Wilbur's son, Fundy or his father, Philza. However, their main piece of evidence is a quote out of Fundy's diary.
"I spoke to Dad today. Could I still call him Dad anymore? After all I'm to be adopted by Eret. Getting back on track - I spoke to Dad about getting adopted. He seemed pretty upset, but he did abandoned me after L'manberg and after... well, you know, he wasn't any better."
The believers in the Ghost Wilbur, or Ghostbur myth, believe that this 'after' that Fundy is referring to is Wilbur's death. If this was the event he was referring to, then Fundy would technically have spoken to Wilbur after his death - ergo making Wilbur a ghost. However, there is no actually proof that what Fundy is referring to is Wilbur's death and could just as well be a fight they had.
After reading the rest of the chapter, Brett picks up the book and stores it in his bag to show Troy later. Walking to the 'D' section, Brett scans through the books before picking out a promising on titled: The Life of Dream.
Flicking to the first page, Brett began reading:
Dream was one of the first people to find the island of The Greater DreamSMP, and after finding it presumably became the leader - ergo why the island is named after him. At the start of founding the island...
After the fight with Tommyinnit and Tubbo, Dream appears to disappear off records. It is unknown what happens to Dream after this point in time. After this, the rest of the island's residents seem to go on with normal life. Because of this, it has provoked the theory that they knew what had happened to Dream, and that it has been buried from records. Not much research has been down to find out what happened but it is largely believed that wherever he went after disappearing was where he stayed to the day he died.
Reading through the last passage, Brett's mind started theorizing. If Wilbur did come back as a ghost, is it possible that Dream did too? Was that the breeze at the house? Is it possible that after dying they left and lived at that house? But, it's completely possible that the ghost myth is just a myth. And even if it was true, how did both of them die?
Plagued by the questions, Brett got up and collected both the books before walking up to the library receptionists desk.
"Hello, Ms, may I please get out these books?'
The old lady behind the desk grabbed both books and scanned them into the system.
"Name?"
"Brett."
"Okay, Brett," the librarian told him as she jotted down the due date and the books titles on a piece of paper, "Just bringing the books back by this date."
"Yes, Miss."
Leaving the library, Brett walked back through the portal, ready to show the books to Troy who, should by now, be up.
