"Morgan, how are you?" Nat asked me while she kept her eyes on me. She studied my body-language trying to figure out what was going on. I tried my best to hide my emotions.

"Euhm I'm fine" i spoke with a trembling voice. "Can you help me to the bathroom please?"

"Sure I'll help you" Natasha got up and walked over to my bed. After a pause she asked "Morgan are you using drugs?"
"No I don't, why are you asking?" She gave me a questionable look.
"Just wondering" Nat said.

After she helped Morgan to the bathroom she walked over to the trashcan next to the window and saw a cigarette stub laying in it. She picked it up and smelled, it had a strong sense of weed. 'Why is she lying to me?'

I locked the door as soon as it closed behind me, stumbled to the sink and looked in the mirror. My eyes were red and my face looked a bit grayish. "Shit, what do i do?" I splashed some water in my face trying to hide the fact i had used, and lied about it to Natasha. Normally i didn't care what people thought about me, and if they saw me as a junky. But it was different with Natasha. I couldn't let her think i was an addict with problems. 'Who would like a 24 year old addict from jail with a lot of problems?' I pretended to use the toilet and flushed. Turned around and looked once again in the mirror at myself, 'Uhg what a mess'.

I unlocked the door and opened it. Natasha walked over and we started walking back to bed. In the meantime Nurse Holly had brought me a tray with food, and a glass of water. "You should eat something and rest" Natasha handed the tray over and walked to the door. "Thank you, for everything Natasha" i said with a little smile. Natasha nodded and walked out of the room. 'Well that was strange..why would she just leave me?' I questioned myself.

[Time-skip: few days later]

"Hello Morgan, how are you feeling today?" Nurse Holly walked in and looked cheerful at me. "I'm fine" i lied. I felt horrible. Two days ago i smoked my last joint. My hands were shaking and my legs felt heavy. "That's good, if you sign these papers you're discharged from the Medbay. You can go home or stay some longer with mister Stark. He prepared a room for you incase you need it". Holly said while handing me the paperwork over. I quickly signed everything and went to the bathroom to shower and get changed out of the hospital clothing. While showering i could only think about Natasha, 'why did she not visite me?' Everyone else came except for the beautiful redheaded woman. 'Is she mad at me?' 'Did i do something?' I squeaked as i felt the cold water hitting my body. I quickly turned the water off, sighed and changed.

I walked out of the bathroom, grabbed my stuff and left the room. I walked to the kitchen, and saw the four men talking and joking with each other.

"Hello Morgan, good to see you up on your feet again" Tony said with a gentle smile.

"Thanks Tony, for everything" i smiled. Clint offered to give me a ride back, but i would rather walk.

"Here, this is my number in case you need help or want to talk." Clint handed me a folded piece of paper. "Thanks" I gave the boys a hug and said my goodbyes.

"Are you sure you don't want to stay? We would love to have you around" Steve wondered.

"No thanks guys, i might visit sometime if thats okay" i said teasingly. They all agreed on that.

I had really hoped Natasha would come and say goodbye but as i looked around the room Clint said "She's not coming, I'm sorry" with a sad face.

"Oh okay, it's fine" i lied to them. I didn't want them to think i cared about her. I walked out of the building without looking back. 'Why didn't she say goodbye?' The thoughts of the red-headed woman kept my mind busy. Before i left the tower, Tony had given me some money. I decided to keep walking around the city till it was getting dark.

"Hey Morgan it's good to see you again" a voice said. I jumped and looked around, it seemed to come out of the dark ally at my right. "Oh come on, did i scare you?" The voice said teasingly. A silhouette stepped out the shadow. I took some steps backwards but stopped as soon as i saw who it was. "Hey Jeremy what are you doing in this part of the city?" I walked up to him and gave him a hug. "Business" he said with a proud face. "Oh so you're expanding now are you?" I smirked. "Something like that yeah" he laughed. After some catching up we went to a bridge at the west-side of the neighborhood. We were both high as a kite, but had a really good time. The substance abuse became worse, i tried to forget a certain person, a certain red-headed woman to be exact.

[In the meantime at the Stark tower]

"Hey Natasha?" Clint knocked on her door. "Can i come in please?" He pleaded.  She opened the  door and he walked inside. "Talk to me please, what's going on?" "Nothing" she shrugged. "I'm okay". "Well that's hard to believe, you're avoiding us. I'm worried about you". He gave her a reassuring look. "Well don't be, i said I'm fine" she growled at him. Clint looked at the ground, and left the room.

Natasha turned around and walked over to the window. She couldn't shake off the annoying feeling in her stomach. It felt like she was worried. But everyone was safe so why would she worry? Her thoughts kept lingering on Morgan. 'Where would she be?' 'Would everything be okay?' 'Did she have a place to stay? Or did she sleep on the streets?' She hated that she cared about Morgan, she didn't even know the woman.

After a while Natasha came to the conclusion that she had to take action. She decided to look for Morgan and check if she was okay. She just needed to wait until it was dark, and then sneak out and go look for her.
