Enjorlas's POV*
The boy Max took a bullet for me.I ran down towards him and said "Max..Its gonna be ok."Max then smiled and took his hat off.Long brunette hair fell down there shoulders.It was Burgundy."Burgundy!"I yelled.She stared up and her eyes closed."Jovy!"I screamed.Jovy came running and picked up Burgundy and ran off with her to try and help her.I stared at the ground.It started raining.Something felt it was missing from my life."Don't die Burgundy."I said.Leaning against the wall shrinking down.But Gaveroche saw everything.He stood there."Burgundy..."Gaveroche said with a tear down his face.I felt sadness.It had gone quiet.Lamarcks men had left.Everyone cheered with excitement except for me.
Jovy's POV*
I swept off Burgundy and ran with her in my arms to the Cafè.I cleared a table and put her down.Her eyes were closed.Blood was showing through her shirt.I grabbed a towel and cleared all the blood.I was able to pull the bullet out and stop the blood.I bandaged up the wound and left her on the table and walked to Enjorlas.He was crouched on the ground with his head down.I said "I don't know if she's alive..But I fixed the wound.You can go see."He nodded and walked into the Cafè.
Enjorlas's POV*
I saw Burgundy lying on the table.I walked over and looked at her."I'm sorry..."I whispered looking down.Marius walked in.He looked down and said "Hope she's not dead..."I nodded.Looking down at her.I saw her eyes open."Enjorlas.."She coughed.Joy filled me and I said "Burgundy!Your alive!"She smiled and said "Yeah.Just a little sore I guess.I can get up."She stood up and almost fell.Marius caught her.I looked at her and said "You can't walk your too weak."She looked up and said"I don't feel any pain."I nodded my head.She limped outside and fell on the ground.I came running over and said "You need to go back inside and lay down."When I went to get her she leaned up and said "A little fall of rain.Can hardly hurt me now."I helped her up and walked her inside."You know you took a bullet for me right?"I whispered.She nodded her head and said "Hey.It's what friends do right?"She coughed.She was ill.I placed her against a chair.I whispered "I'm here."Then she said "That's all I need tonight."Her eyes closed falling asleep.
