Chapter 5

Burgundy's POV*
I woke up staring at the ceiling.I looked to the left of me Gaveroache was curled up in a little ball next to me.Maybe I could take him fishing or for some activity today to build my strength up from the accident.I leaned up.I rubbed my head.I stood up and out my slippers on.I brushed my hair and sat one more time in my bed.I opened the door tripping and falling."What the heck!"I thought to myself.I got up and looked down.Great.Just great.Again the freaking Les Amis was sleeping on my floor.I just tripped over Grantaire.He screamed "What's going on!"I screamed back "Why are you here?!"He looked up and said "I really don't remeber."I shook my head and made myself a cup of tea.I sat down in my chair.I looked over and Grantaire was passed out again."Oh my god.."I said to myself."I'm surrounded by idiots."After drinking my tea and eating breakfast I walked to my closet in my room.I pulled out a thin white dress.After getting dressed I put my hair into a long braid.I walked over and pulled out some white flat shoes.I walked out and half of the les Amis was awake now."Finally your awake so you can get out."I stated cleaning the mess they left up.Marius laughed and said "Man you missed a lot of fun last night."I looked up and said "First my names not man its Burgundy and I'm glad you had fun destroying my house."Marius stared and helped me clean up."Why are there broken bottle classes?"I said.Grantiere replied "I went on rage mode."I scoffed and threw the trash into the garbage can."Why are you such in a hurry anyway?"Jovy questioned.I looked up and said "I'm taking Gaveroache to fish or do something like that."They all laughed.I scoffed and said "What's a matter."Grantiere said "Bet Gaveroache can fish better then you!"I rolled my eyes and said "Fine be all feminist."Then it got silent."Thank you."I replied back.After cleaning up Gaveroache came up."Morning Burgundy."Gaveroache smiled hugging me."Hello Gaveroache.I have a suprise!"Gaveroache said "What?"I replied back by saying "Where going fishing!"Gaveroache smiled and hugged me.Grantiere said "Your like a mother.Let'em do what he wants."I ignored him and grabbed my bag and umbrella."Now gentleman, Gaveroache and I have business to attend to.I assume this place should be sparkling when I get back?Splendid!See you then!"I said closing the door and skipping down the stairs with Gaveroache.

Marieus's POV*
Maybe Grantaire was right..Maybe she should let him do his own thing.But maybe he never gets the opportunity to do things like this.Never seen her in a rush.Now I'm stuck cleaning.

Burgundy's POV*
Gaveroche and I skipped down to the docks.It was misty but I suppose we could go fishing.Or just row around.Anyway we walked up to my friend Mr.Shermans boat.He was a kind man.He lived on his boat for his whole life.I stepped onto the sailboat holding Gaveroche.I put him down and walked to Captains Quarters.I knocked."Come in..."A voice said.I walked in.Mr.Sherman was sitting back in his chair.He smiled and said "Hello Ms.Burgundy!What can I help you with?"I smiled and replied back "Hello Mr.Sherman!Today I was wondering if I could borrow a boat from you.Just a row boat.Nothing big."Mr Sherman recalled how many boats were left and said "Yes you can.Theres a row boat on the docks all you have to do is tie a rope to the pole and place the boat in the water to make it easier to get into."I nodded my head and said "Goodbye Mr.Sherman.Thank you again."I walked out and closed the drawer.I helped Gaveroche back onto the dock.When I got back onto the dock I saw the row boat.I bent to and picked the rowboat up carrying it to the docks.I tied the rope and dropped it into the water.I placed Gaveroache into the boat and then I hopped into the boat.I felt a little dizzy.Maybe I was sea sick.Probably not."I untied the rope and off we went smoking along the still water."Now what."Gaveroache said.I didn't quite no what to do either."I'm bored Burgundy."Gaveroache replied.I nodded and agreed.I rowed the boat back to the docks.I tied the rope and helped Gaveroche up.I climbed up and we both walked along the pavement.Walking there came Marius running."Guys!"He yelled.I ran holding Gaveroche and said "What?"Marius replied back "There's a ball.There has to be a group of 6 people total.Lets start a group."I nodded and said "A ball..How interesting.Marius is this couples total 6 or friends total 6?"Marius looked and said "You have to have a couple total of 6."I shrugged.I didn't know anybody who would take me.No that I would go.I mean maybe I would maybe I wouldn't.

Enjorlas's POV*
I didn't know who to take to the ball.I didn't know anybody that I could in invite.Maybe choices will narrow down eventually.Maybe I might not just even go.What was the point anyway?

Burgundy's POV*
After a long day Gaveroche and I walked down to Cafè Musain.We walked inside being greeted by Jovy and Marius.After talking Gaveroche and I walked upstairs.No one was there.But Gaveroche and I sat up there.Gaveroche questioned me by saying "Burgundy, what's a ball?"I replied back "A ball has a lot of dancing ,games,and fun."Gaveroche questioned "Dance?"I nodded my head."Can you show me what dancing is?"Gaveroche questioned.I didn't exactly know how to dance but I used to do ballet.I stood up and twirled and continued to dance.Gaveroche started dancing with me.I laughed as he followed my steps.When I stopped Gaveroche laughed.I continued laughing.When Gaveroche and I sat down Gaveroche said "Are you going to the ball Burgundy?"I nodded and said "I don't know Gaveroche.I don't know."Gaveroche nodded.I heard a voice say "Impressive dance moves."I turned around.Enjorlas was standing right there.I blushed of embarrassment."No really don't be embarrassed it really was impressive."I nodded my head and said "Thank you."I turned my head.Gaveroche was gone.It was an awkward silence.Then Enjorlas spoke "Going to the ball?"I stared at the floor and said "You know I don't really know.You know.Like I don't if I'm gonna go."He nodded and said "Well I could take you if you wanted to go."I turned red and said "Sure.It's tomorrow so what time?"His face lit up and said "3:00pm if that's ok.I'll stop by."I nodded my head and said "Well,I should be going.I'll see you tomorrow at 3:00!"I walked to the stairs.I walked down.I found Gaveroche.He was going to stay longer so I walked back by myself.When I walked out the door I started skipping with joy.Than are started saying

Enjorlas's POV*
I felt joy.She said yes.I walked down and sat down at the table.Grantaire smirked at me.He said "So..Whatcha you doing up there with Burgundy?"I stared at him and said "Your sick.I asked her to go to the ball idiot."Grantaire nodded.I sat there and Marius came up to me and said "Lemme guess your not going again?"I replied back "Wrong."He stared and nodded.
