With my eyes down on the salad, I dig the fork into it. I feel sparks running in my nervous as she darts her eyes over to me and just stares openly. I deliberately keep my focus on food and give her time to let her do what she was doing.

I look up and her eyes fix on mine. I try my best to fight the urge. It's not easy when you're a wolf and your not allowed to touch your mate. I want to know what the other wolves did when they were given a human mate. I'm sure there has to be more wolves with human mate. I can't be the one.

Her eyes looked darker. Is it due to the dim light or is it something else mate?

"There must be something wrong with your eyes, you can't seem to take them off me." I commented with a smirk and tore my eyes off her now fuming orbs.

I push my fork into a slice of tomato and put it in my mouth.

"I hope you choke on that shit you talk." She cursed while grabbing the stem of her glass and took a sip from it. She's so damn amazing!

I witnessed she hasn't yet finished her first glass.

I travel my eyes from her glass to her hand, to her slim arm, she shoulder, to uff her long neck, I try to control my yearning as my gaze shift on her lips. As I couldn't take it I shifted my gaze up in her eyes and she was already looking at me.

She didn't avert her eyes from mine. It was that moment where I was burning like coal from inside but I'll won't give up and still let have her win easily.

Her eyes were a different shade of brown in this dim lights. They looked glassy and really light. Nobody I had ever met before possessed this attractive pair of eyes. Her eyes held a kind of power and vulnerability at the same time. I can't guess which one was more. She never let her guards down.

'She doesn't trust us yet.'

Looking down, I run my fingers through my hair and darted my gaze at her plate. She had neatly separated the coriander and tomato pieces in a corner of the dish like a small child. A smile appeared on my face.

"You don't like tomatoes?" I asked.

She looked at her plate and shook her head a me, "they were over baked otherwise I'm fine with them."

I nodded with a smile and took a sip from my delicious vine.

"So, you liked the site area?" She asked sitting back in her chair comfortably.

"It's nice and it's also far but not too far from the city so that's a plus for us. What do you think?" I commented.

"I think it's nice but still I would like to check the SEZ area." She suggested.

"But that is double in distance. The transportation charges will kill us." I stated looking in her eyes.

"Still I wanna go and check it out. I don't wanna rush it. If you're busy I'll go alone." She shrugged.

Such a boss lady!

"Not at all, you're not going alone anywhere. I'm investing my money, ofcourse I'll go along." I put my fork in the dish as I finished my dinner and swiped my lips clean with a napkin.

"Always tailing around." She mumbled under her breath after turning her eyes off towards the window.

I took the jug and filled two glasses of water. She had her water. "Thanks for the food. I really appreciate." She said truthfully and then continued, "It was me who promised you a delicious meal and it ended the whole opposite way." She scrunched her nose.
