Mr. D: yes! What dont you get? My daughter is not in the house! I locked her in her room and when I came home from work the door was off its hindges and she was gone.

Cop: okay so wait... You left your daughter locked in her room... And you're shocked that one of her friends didnt get her out?

Mr. D: the front door of my house was locked. No one could've gotten in without a key.

Cop: Do you know anyone close to Alison who'd have a key?

Mr. D: (thinks) probably her gf.. Emily stayed with her while I was in Boca so she probably gave her her own key. Fantastic. So they ran away together.

Cop: her gf? Sir.. You locked your daughter in her room so you could keep her away from this girl thinking you could break them up cause you're homophobic... Am I right?

Mr. D: how did you know that...?

Cop: I have a 16 year old daughter. I caught her making out with this girl when I came home from work one day. I did everything I possibly could to break them up. I finally realized that their love was stronger than my hatred. She's happy, so am I. You know she will choose this girl over you. There's no point in doing this to her. This seems to me very much your fault. I mean, YOU lock your daughter in her room.... Her gf misses her and gets her out, they run away and YOU call the cops? Sorry but this is no reason to file a police report.

Mr. D: no reason? Someone broke into my house and took my daughter! You dont think that's a reason!

Cop: actually to be completely realistic here... No. Alison's gf had a key to your house. She did not destroy any of your property. She didnt even commit a crime. She simply used a key, unlocked a door, and saved your daughter from being trapped in a room for god knows how long. She's been in the house before I'm assuming?

Mr. D: yes but you are missing the point! What kind of cop are you! The point is I banned that girl from my house and she broke in and took my daughter!

Cop: she did not break in. She used the damn key! And she did not take your daughter. Your daughter was willing to get away from YOU. No one, and im talking from experience, wants to live in a place where their own father cant accept her happiness.

Mr. D: so you arent going to do anything about this?

Cop: i'm not the one who has to... Seems to me like you are.

Mr. D: (hangs up)

Aria: Wait I think that's them... Pull up over there. (Points to a bench)

Spencer: (parks car) you do realize that bringing them back to rosewood is very risky.

Hanna: actually I spent this whole car ride looking up their situation. It's actually not as bad as they think. Apart from anything, it's worse to keep your daughter locked up in a room for no reason. So technically Em showing up and running away with her was not bad. Nor was it illegal. Their only issue would be her dad.

Spencer: yeah well.. It's still risky. Where are they gonna go?

Aria: well, that's for them to figure out. Stay here i'll get them. ( opens car door and walks up to the bench they are on)

I can give you better options though. One, you could stay in rosewood and go back to Ali's and try to reason with Mr. D... Two, you could--
