"Em you gonna pack this?" Aria asked holding up some weird lava lamp her dad got her before he went back on the fighting grounds. "Uh.. No, I'm not moving out Aria, I'm just staying with Ali for a while. I just need the stuff I need.. like clothes." Emily laughed and opened her closet. Em had so many clothes that she could actually wear a new outfit every day without doing laundry for a whole month. She just grabbed a bunch of shirts and jeans to match and threw it in the suitcase Spencer lent her.

Hanna: oh hey, what about underwear?

Alison: (chuckles) yeah Em, what about underwear?

Aria: oh please, there's no point in that. Any underwear that ends up in Ali's house that's Emily's will be on the floor anyways.

Spencer: (high fives Aria and starts laughing)

Alison: point taken. But the girl needs underwear. (Rolls her eyes and laughs at the girls' comment)

Emily: (blushes) "the girl" is in the room. (Snatches her underwear out of Hanna's hand) but thank you for thinking about me and Alison having sex Aria...shows your enthusiasm for lesbian sex (winks and starts lauging)

Aria: (laughs) ok ok you win

Hanna: ugh I really don't want to go home tonight.

Spencer: why Han?

Hanna: Me and Caleb are in this huge fight and my mom overheard it and before I left she said we needed to "talk" and when I told her me and Caleb were fine she said "it's not about you and Caleb. It's about your dad."

Spencer: your dad? Wait and what did you say?

Hanna: nothing. I left and slammed the front door in her face. And to be honest I'm really not looking forward to going back.

Spencer: (puts arm around Hanna) hey, it's ok. You can sleep at my house tonight. But under one condition.

Hanna: Sure, what is it?

Spencer: First thing tomorrow morning we go to your house, together, and hear what your mom has to say. You can't avoid her forever, and I promise you wont have to do this alone. I got your back.

Hanna: (sighs) okay.. Thank's Spence. (Smiles)

Aria: speakin of fights... Spencer, what happened earlier with you and Toby?

Spencer: I uh.. I don't know what you're talking about.

Aria: Spencer... Seriously. We are your best friends. Talk to us.

Spencer: (looks down to the floor)

[flashback]
(7:00 AM at the sleepover)

(All the girls are sleeping but Spencer. She decided to talk to Toby because lately things have been awkward and silent between them and it was eating at her.)

Spencer: (silently gets up off the couch, slips on a sweat jacket and shoes, and quietly opens the front door.)

Spencer: Toby, we need to talk. Meet me outside my house asap.

Toby: On my way.

With that, she slipped her phone back into her pocket and sat on the porch as she waited for Toby. After about 5 minutes, a truck pulled up and Toby got out of it.

Toby: you wanted to talk?

Spencer: what is happening? With us? Why have you been avoiding me?

Toby: (rolls his eyes) I havent been avoiding you... I've just been--
