Lana's POV
The party ended at about 11:30 so Dana walked me home. We got a ways away before Dana started talking.
"How come I didn't know about her birthday?"
"I don't know I guess we just never told you." We laughed and talked about pointless things until we reached my house.
"I'll see you tomorrow." Dana said and kissed my cheek before walking away. I smiled and went up to the door.
--------------------------------------
"Where were you?" My dad yelled at me when I walked inside.
"I told you. I went to Chloe's for a birthday party."
"And you walked home? By yourself? Don't you know its dangerous?!" He came closer and I realized he was drunk.
"Dana walked me home. I'm fine." I started walking upstairs when he mumbled something.
'You're becoming a no good god damn whore.' I turned around instantly.
"What did you say?"
"You heard me! You're gonna end up in some whore house selling your body the way you hang out with these boys." I felt tears and headed towards the door. "Wait Lana I'm sorry."
"No. You're never sorry. God why can't you just go back to the way you were before mom died!" I screamed and ran to Chloe's.
--------------------------------------
I knocked on her door and she answered. By that time I was crying and she hugged me.
"Lana are you okay? What happened?" She let me inside and we sat down. Gabe was still there.
"He called me a no good whore. He's drunk but still." I was still crying and Gabe came over to me.
"Want me to go beat him up?" I started laughing and he smiled.
"No it's okay but can I stay here for the night?"
"You can always stay here if you need to." Chloe got up to make me some hot chocolate while Gabe put in a movie.
"Thank you guys so much. For everything." They smiled and sat down to watch Batman.
