Lana's POV

"Why are you walking?" I asked Dana.

"My mom took the car so I can't drive to school" I nodded and the rest of the walk was silent until we got to the schoolyard. Dana started walking the opposite way of me.

"No no no you're coming with me." I grabbed him by the hand and pulled him over to my friends.

"Dana, this is Cole and Gabe. You know Electra and Chloe." They said 'hi' and nodded, "Cole, Gabe, this is Dana."

"He's the new kid I told you about" Chloe said hitting Gabe's arm. Cole put his arm around Dana.

"I have a feeling we'll be good friends." Cole smirked and we all started laughing besides Dana who looked concerned.

I was in Math when I started thinking. Not about math, about Dana. He was really cute and had these chocolate brown eyes that'd make you melt and- wait what am I doing? I raised my hand.

"Can I go to the bathroom?"

"Yes but be back in 5 minutes." The teacher said and I ran out the door. I texted Chloe and Electra to meet me in the bathroom. A minute later they both showed up.

"What is it?" Electra asked as I was pacing around.

"IwasinmathandistartedthinkingandnowithinkimightlikeDana."

"What? Slow down." Chloe said. I took a deep breath and repeated myself.

"I was in math and I started thinking and now I think I might like Dana." They stared at me in shock.

"We'll talk about this tonight. Come to my house." Chloe said and we went back to class.

School ended and Chloe, Electra and I were on our way when we heard a voice.

"Hey wait up!" It was Gabe. We turned around and he came up to us.

"Would you guys all wanna hang out on Friday? Including Dana?" He nudged me and I hit his arm.

"Sure now go. We're having girl time." Electra said and shooed him.

We got to Chloe's house and went to her room.

"I may have a slight crush on Dana.." I looked out the window.

"A crush? That's huge! That hasn't happened since-" I shot Electra a death look and she stopped talking.

"I just don't want to get hurt again." They nodded.

"Well I think this is good. And I think he's too sweet to hurt you. Don't you think Electra? Electra!" She was stuffing her face with food.

"Yeah. This is a good crush." I looked out the window hoping they weren't wrong as they started talking about homework.
